Spartans Legacy, a game by GameArt, playing with 50 paylines, with a minimum starting bet of $0.50 per spin, is not a game that I would want to play on a regular basis! Why? For $0.30 bet per spin, for example, I could be playing on a 243 ways-to-win game, with very much better winning potentials and gameplay characteristics. On the other hand, where GameArt games are concerned, I would rather be playing on Ramses Treasure at just $0.10 bet per spin - that's 5 spins for every 1 spin on Spartans Legacy! Not only that, in every other aspects of the 2 games, Spartans Legacy fall way behind!

What do I mean by that? Let's take the Wild symbol for a start. It is non-paying, it doesn't double any wins with it, and doesn't even expand into a full Wild Reel with wins. A really dumb Wild symbol! Then there's that Evil Warrior Scatter symbol that pays a blardy miserable 2x total bet amount for getting 3, 4 or even all 5 of them! But there's more! The Shield Bonus symbol is also similarly 'stupid' with its 2x total bet win for getting all 3 of them! All the top 3 symbols in this game have totally ridiculous winning potentials!

Getting 3 or more Scatter symbols would award 10 free spins, with all wins multiplied by 4x. Okay, that's fair enough, but not quite meeting the usual standard of 15 free spins with a 3x multiplier. Any possibility of a retrigger during the free spins? Nope - not possible at all! The Free Spins game is a straightforward no-thrills feature game, so like it or not. I don't! Getting all 3 of the Shield Bonus symbols on reels 3, 4 and 5 award a Bonus game, whereby you get to pick Shields to win cash prizes. You may see numerous shields on the screen to pick from, but your picks hardly ever go beyond the fourth pick!

With non-paying Wilds, with very low paying Scatter and Bonus symbols, I would expect the regular symbols to have better win values to compensate, but very disappointingly, they don't! The Lady, or Queen, or whatever, the highest paying symbol, pays only 40x total bet for 5 of her, whilst the other symbols pay from 20x down to 1.5x total bet for any 5 of them. So your best single winning potential would be getting 5 of this Lady in one of the free spins for a lousy miserably low 160x total bet win!

With such damn low winning potentials, Spartans Legacy will never see me playing it regularly, not even playing it on a on-off basis! There is practically nothing in the game that is attractive enough for me, or for any other player, and definitely would get the brush-off by big-win hunters.
