Space Invasion is a video slot game from Amaya gaming that I have played quite recently out of curiosity. This is a classic slot with a modern design, so that means that this is a very simple slot. Being so simple without any complex features this game is more rewarding than others. I had a really nice session while playing this slot. I did not play it for quite a while, because after sometime I felt bored. After all I would prefer a slot that is more entertaining than this one.

The symbol that has the word WIN written on it is the wild symbol, and it substitutes for all the other symbols without any exceptions like in other games. Every time a wild completes a winning combination it doubles the win, and if you are lucky enough to have 2 wilds in a winning combination you will have x 4 multiplier.

The highest win that I have managed to land was when I got 3 Blue Alien and a win of 360 coins. This really improved my balance and stretched my bankroll.

Anno, when I first saw the name of Space Invasion wasn’t any special in it but when I realized it was listed as a 3-reel game it made me curious. I thought it’s very strange name for a classic slot and I was sure it doesn’t use the conservative symbols what I’m used to so there was nothing to stop me to try this machine. To be honest I was afraid of disappointing in Space Invasion and I was ready for a short experience with it but a pleasant surprise waited me and now a bunch of times later I’m glad to give it a shot.

The slot, as its name suggests takes us to the world of galaxies and with great design and decent graphics it has a charming interface. Of course it has a modern look but the arrangement of the panels are very great, there’s nothing out of focus and neither of elements bother or make wrong the overall playing experience. We sit in the control room of a space ship and manage the game from there while we can see the endless space, stars and planets in the background, so from this comfortable position we can play with blue, red, green planet icons and some kind of aliens pictograms. Perhaps it’s one of the unconventional interfaces that a so-called traditional slot has ever got but I like it and love to play with and thumps up to crew of Amaya to dare to build such unorthodox classic slot.

The machine offers one payline to bet on and have surprisingly large number of winning combinations to be completed. The special Win emblem is the most coveted symbol here as it functions as Wild and can double the wins if just one complements a combo and quadruples the initial win if 2 such emblems are on the center line, but the real deal is if all 3 spots of the line contain a ‘Win’ because it would mean the Jackpot of the game is won and 1000, 2000 or 4000 coins are won depending on how many coins were used as bet. There are 4 combination that has the ability to doubles the original bet (and 3 blank space at least returns the stake) so this product seems to be promising to use when go against the wagering requirements.

Unfortunately, in reality these lot of available combination are not always an advantage and sometimes a little longer streaks without wins happen than I could accepts but other times thanks to the better paying formulas the balance can increase with some nice measurement and at the end of the day the player just surprise how profitable the session was. I think ‘whimsical’ is the most proper word to describe the work of the game segment and I experienced both the feeling when I thought I won’t return to this machine ever when nothing good happened to me and other times after some great run I even could cash out some decent money only by playing with Space Invasion.

Overall, I became a fan of this product and although I’m not a huge fan of revolutionize what works greatly (I mean here the well-known appearance and the traditional used symbols) but this game is an exception and I’m glad to have a chance to play it. If we can catch the game when it is in good mood it’s really capable to make little dreams come true so the potential is always there and even it can entertain me and don’t become boring or one-schemed as play times go by. I recommend this slot to those who don’t afraid of trying new solutions but at the same time getting the main well-known elements and playing a real good game.
