A slot from Pragmatic Play and it has a snakes and ladders board game theme which I do enjoy and it has a 5 reel, 3 rows and 10 fixed paylines. The min bet is set to just 0.10 per spin and the game has a 5300x max win cap which is above the 5000x cap that I consider standard.
The slot has a very addictive bonus feature which has a board that has a random arrangement of wins and ladders and snakes and multipliers. During one of my sessions it took almost 200 spins to trigger the bonus and it wasn’t even via the 3 scatters or more but by the snake above the reels where the snake has these sections that get filled red and one filled you get awarded the bonus feature. I think it’s great to have more than one way to get into a feature because sometimes those pesky scatters just don’t want to land on the reels. One other thing that is good about the slot’s bonus is that there is a 20x bonus guarantee. Also if you do trigger the bonus via the scatters then the more scatters you get during the trigger the more rolls you get during the bonus.
The graphics here are not going for a realism style but it is of a friendly type, you have the background of the reels being blue and you see the ladders on the sides, while a green snake watches the reel action. It all looks fine to me.
The music is some kind of jungle music with lots of drumming and it is fine to listen to, it has a fast tempo to it and will try and get you to spin fast and play fast by design. The sound effects are ok to with the reel spin and stop sounds and win sounds. I keep them on during the sessions as I like to get the most out of the slot for it’s entertainment purposes.
I played the 94.57% RTP version and that happens to be over 2% under the max RTP but as most of my casinos have it set this lower RTP I had no choice but to go with this lower RTP version and try to make the most of it.
The base game feels like it has a bit too many dead spins for my liking and it is just one of those observations. You also get lots of double scatter teases and that can get annoying at times when it keeps missing the 3rd important scatter.
There is no ante bet or bonus buy and therefore you gotta just grind the base game and that can take ages sometimes if the 3 or more scatters don’t land on the reels so it is one of those things where the bonus is fun but you gotta grind it to trigger it.
