The big castle is the scatter symbol in this game. I really like that there is a scatter payout, because if you do not get the third one at least you get some money for it. At least 3 scatters trigger the free spins. It is very easy to activate this feature though. During my session I sometimes manage to activate the free spins even more than 3 times but the wins never exceed 20 x bet.
