Relic Raiders Slot NetEnt

Relic Raiders is an Indiana Jones-esque 50-payline video slot operating on the NetEnt software platform. The game is abundant with symbols featuring treasure journals and gemstones, but the most important ones are the Witch Doctor, a wild; a Treasure Chest, the scatter; and a Bonus symbol featuring the Adventurers. Players can try this adventure-packed slot on this page for free or choose any of the featured NetEnt casinos to play the game for real money.

In order to initiate their treasure hunt, players should adjust their bet first. The bet level is regulated by pressing “Bet Level”. “Bet Lines” alters the number of active paylines. To modify the coin size, which ranges from 0.01 to 0.5, players should click “Coin Value”. “Spin” initiates the game and “Max Bet” spins the reels at the highest wager. To play the game multiple times uninterrupted, players should click the “Auto” button, located in the lower left corner.

When 3 or more scatter symbols spin into the view, the Free Spin round is activated. Another 2 or more scatters that emerge during the feature will trigger additional Free Spins or a multiplier. The Free Spin round features multipliers ranging from x1 to x5.

3 or more Bonus symbols initiate a multi-stage Bonus game. In this game, players look for mystery relics. Each stage begins with a world map showing 4 tomb sites: Tintagel, Luxor, Tikal and Angkor. Players cannot return to a site after they have found its relic. Clicking on the map leads them to a tomb with 8 urns. Players need to break the urns to reveal bonus amounts or the relic. The stage ends if an urn contains a spider.

Should players find all 4 relics, the Mystery Feature is activated. 4 gold statues will appear and clicking on 1 of them reveals one’s mystery win. The relics are saved 36 hours from the last spin.

A 10,000-coin jackpot will be awarded when 5 Witch Doctor wilds emerge on an active payline.

Relic Raiders is an old video slot game powered by NetEnt software provider. It has 5 reels and 50 pay lines to win. I played this game… well I tried to play it only once or twice; but I did not like it at all. I mostly like every game from NetEnt software, I enjoy their games when I playing them. But at this one I did not enjoy at all.

The game has free spins feature and bonus game. The bonus game start when you get 3 or more bonus symbols in a succession from leftmost to right, on an active bet line. There you pick some symbols and you get coins win. The free spins feature starts when you get 3 or more scatter symbols on the reels. During free spins two or more scatter symbols activate additional free spins or higher multiplier up to x5.

When I played this game I triggered bonus games many times, but without any free spins feature. I was a little bit angry just because I never got 3 scatters on the reels. The bonus game is quite boring, you can win only small prizes – I never won more than x10 bet from bonus game. And most of the time I ended up the game after I picked just one symbol which is really funny. My win was not even x2 bet.

I do not like this game at all. The only reason why is because of the payouts. During base game is impossible to get any win higher than x5 bet. Most of my winnings were lower than my bet amount which I think is ridiculous. I lose on this game some of my money and I am sure I will not open it again. It is one of the worst game from NetEnt for me.

Relic Raider, by NetEnt software provider, didn't come from nowhere. If you wonder what I mean by nowhere, well, their creators were inspired by an innovative 3D pop-up game, where players have to run away from zombies. I am not into zombies and ghost themes using so called 'Action Point Allowance System'. If you decide to play this NetEnt game, you will not regret, but it all depends on what you are actually looking for. If just for entertainment, then not a big deal, you can start spinning right away. 5-reels, 50-paylines, with a minimum starting bet of 0.50 cents.

Background soundtrack is rather annoying to me but who cares, once I start winning, I don't care about its soundtrack, I can put my favorite music on, but that wasn't the case here. I had frequent but minor wins paying peanuts. And what should I do, keep 'standing'...err...spinning, with empty pockets? Well, not me. It was a true and pleasant surprise when all of a sudden I triggered a Bonus Game!

Ohhh yea, I was thrilled, but wait...firstly, I wasn't expecting an exciting bonus game, or in better words, I didn't know what to expect, so I took a deep breath and waited. You are offered to choose between a few 'world' locations, and I picked Tritingale England, and then you are finding treasure by smashing urns. Uhh, I managed to collect some coins and then I found 'Celtic Relic' and went back into the base game with 290 coins. I told you about my empty pockets, right?

Wild symbols pay an incredible 10,000 coins if you collect 5 of them, so keep your eye on this symbol. You might trigger Free Spins as well. There is a multiplier attached and it goes up to x5. Sounds solid to me. Before you start a Free Spins session, you will be offered to pick on of the Wild symbols and each one carry a number of free spins, so don't rush, just choose smartly.

In slots as in life everything is a matter of taste, "Relic Raiders" is a slot with which I have been able to entertain a lot and that is largely because this game allowed me to feel really lucky, not only because my game was sustainable during the base game, but because in this NetEnt slot I felt I could access the bonus round and free spins with a reasonable frequency, and this for me is a joy because after playing some slots from other providers this week I was beginning to think that my luck was falling, but now I no longer think it's a matter of my fate, I just think that, without being a perfect game, Relic Raiders provides conditions of a very fair game, so for example, this game have some symbols with very small payouts, but this is compensated by other higher paying symbols and both symbols are involved in the formation of combinations to a fair pace from my point of view, ie, wins with high symbols are not scarce, and this great behavior is partly because the wild is a very active symbol here, and of course because this one is a 50 paylines slot with a layout of 5 x 4 reels.

Bonus round usually grants moderate winnings, but the mysterious bonus is an extra profit you may access just by collecting 4 medals after you already won several times walking through the map of the bonus round, however, my favorite round here it is free spins and from my view it is an exceptional feature in this game, each time we choose one of the three chests representing the scatter symbols responsible for triggering this round, we always get a decent amount of spins and multiplier, but during the free spins I could always get some additional spins and improve my multiplier as they always appeared more scatters to make that happen, and of course getting two simultaneous scatters is easier than getting three, and even I would say that these scatters appeared at a better pace during this free round than during the base game.

In short, just today I met this game and it is a strong candidate to be incorporated into my favorite list of NetEnt slots and now on I will continue playing it just to eliminate doubts.

Relic Raiders is a 50 payline, 5 reel slot with 4 rows instead of the standard 3 coming from NetEnt. The game has an interesting design and is different from other NetEnt slots and you could call it unique. Still the graphic is poor and the animations are on a very low level. The background music is irritating so when I played this game I set it on mute. I can’t say that there is anything too impressive in this game and my overall experience with it is only one session.

The game has a very poor paytable with only 500 coins as max prize for 5 of the highest paying symbols on a winning payline. I have to say when I see a paytable like this I know the game won’t be paying but I give it a chance and I always end up disappointed. The wild symbol has a great payout of 10 000 coins for 5 of them on a payline and substitutes for all symbols except the scatter and bonus symbol. Still he doesn’t have a multiplier attached so that’s another setback in the overall gameplay. The scatter symbol has a standard payout of 200 x total bet and 3 or more trigger the free spins bonus.

The free spins number and multiplier is random and can go up to x 5 but I haven’t seen that even as a choice in the pick. When 3 scatters land on the reels you pick one and it reveals the number of spins and multiplier. Extra 2 scatters in the bonus game award more free spins or multipliers. Still 2 scatters rarely come in the game and usually the wins are small.

There is also a cash bonus in the game which is pretty hard to trigger and awards small wins. Overall this slot doesn’t pay big nor descent. Base play wins usually don’t even cover your bet and you drop really fast. Cash bonus awards 10-15 x bet wins and the free spins barely 20 x bet. I have no idea how it is possible to get a descent win in this game.

It is enough for me how many times I had to click here at Relic Raiders. My finger hurts and I cannot wait to finish writing this review. And it all started from my curiosity to find out how much this Mystery Win of this slot will pay when you collect four relics. And to find this I played, I guess some 500-700 spins. In general after 300 spins maximum I finish playing a slot, but here I really wanted to know if the game resembles the Tomb Raider II slot or not. And I just found this, when I won after so much time wasted 20 Euro. Yes I have 23 Euro extra now, but as well there was a time in the game when I had a 35-40 Euro loss. In general all is well when ends well but not here. I had to play too much and I did not win too significantly.

The “Relic Raiders” slot is presented as an adventure. An adventure that begins to be beautiful only after 200-300 spins played, and for which I had to search the Internet to find out that in fact this is an adventure of Indiana Jones. Yes the symbols resembles of an adventure, a monkey, a plane Journey, a book located on a mysterious map, etc. But the game itself is terrible at the first spins. Here is a 5x4 slot having 50 paylines where in 100 spins you lose up to 30 Euro because many wins are small. Yes, if you play long enough and enter the Free Spins sometimes you will win big (minimum 5 Euros, up about 30 Euros) but who knows if you will play the Free Spins every 100 spins or at an interval of only 10 spins. Here everything is possible as I found out because I may have played even 700 spins.

The biggest chance is when in a Free Spins round which has also a multiplier the bonus game is triggered, and you will have a Bonus win that is multiplied. The downside is that to find a relic from a bonus game you need to play this bonus 3-5 times. Like I said, I was curious to find out what Mystery Win I will get after gathering 4 relics. I suspected some hundred dollars or more. The disappointment was great for those 20 Euros.

And here I stop because playing this slot you may sometimes win and lose 50 Euro quickly. A slot that is not very great, in my opinion.

The most unpleasant part are those series of dozens of spins of small payouts and tens of Euros losses. What is more, here you get bored from playing before to start winning. And you also need to have the 3 Bonus symbols aligned on a payline to enter the Bonus despite the fact that these bonuses are frequent on reels and exactly out of their place. This is unpleasant.

According to Net Entertainment the slot Relic Raiders was their first game featuring 5 reels, 50 paylines and 4 rows. On the contrary of many other slots, Relic Raiders has 4 symbols on each reel. The first time I played this game was like 9 months ago when I took advantage of a specific promotion. I was not sure what to expect, but the minimum bet for this game was quite high considering the 50 paylines structure.

So low rollers might skip this slot and prefer other games instead. I decided to play Relic Raiders on an avg. bet size of 50 cents. I always been amazed by slots with an adventurous team, and that's exactly how you feel when playing this game.

NetEnt did a fine job creating multiple second-tier bonuses. There is a bonus game which can be triggered when hitting 3 or more bonus symbols in succession on the first 3 reels or more. It also has wild symbols which appear quite easily on this game.

I'd say this a low variance slot, since almost every spin is a hit. If you got a bonus to clear, choose this game and you'll be safe most of the time without losing too much. The symbols are made up from several marbles, planes, monkeys, snakes and treasure chests. There are no card symbols used at this game, which is nice for a change.

The treasure chest symbols is that one of a scatter, and the top prize here is 200.000 coins. During one session I managed to hit the bonus round like 5 times. During the bonus round you have to choose a location from England, Egypt, Guatemala or Cambodia. After choosing a location you get redirected to a tomb full of vases.

Every vase reveals a prize, and some feature a relics coin. On avg. I think I won like 15x bet size, which certainly isn't bad. In the meanwhile I managed to collect 3 relics coins. On the left side of this slot it says you need 4 to win a mystery win. Unfortunately my bankroll ran out, and I never managed to find out how much the mystery win actually is.

I did come back a few days later though, but saw the collected mystery coins were no longer there. Apparently they are only saved for 36 hours. So the mystery win will always remain a mystery to me lol.

Apart from the bonus round, there is also the free spins feature. Collect 3 or more treasure chest (scatters) to trigger the free spins. You have to pick one of the treasure chests, which then reveals a number of free spins and a multiplier. I managed to trigger them twice hitting 15 free spins and a 2x multiplier once, and 12 free spins with a 2x multiplier.

If you hit 2 scatters during the free spins you win additional free spins or multipliers. I won like 50x bet size on avg. during these both rounds. Overall I'm probably even on this slot.

I'd give Relic Raiders a 7.5/10 rating.
