Noughty Crosses is a 243 line game powered by Cryptologic. A pretty cool looking game and I got few good wins on it. I like the game for few reasons, first one is that there are different ways of getting the feature and second one is the feature itself. Just like in the game you have to get three O's or X'x in horizontal, vertical or diagonal positions to get free spins. I read the time table and it said that you get 5 free spins, but I always get 10. I don't know if it’s because I get 4 symbol, instead of 3, but I can tell you for sure that I never got 5.

The free spins are very cool and if you get them with O's, then when for each O that appears on the reels, you get an extra spin. If you get it with X's then each X adds a free spin. The first time I got the feature I had the best result of €56 on €0.50 bet. I played in total 49 spins which is the highest amount of free spins that I ever got.

The pays in the game are not too bad and because some of them are stacked, you can win double or triple the amount. The dragons are the hardest to get and the reason in my view is because they are stacked.

This game fires a lot of blank shots. Many times, on the feature I end up winning less than a euro. Even though I get more spins, most of the games if not all come out without a win. It happened well few times, and I’m starting to think that this is common for this game. Over all a cool looking 243 line game with a chance to win tones of free spins. My rating 6 out of 10.

Noughty Crosses slot game has a very unique visual appearance, some says it has tattoo themed, some others think it represents the Asian culture but personally I think the background image and overall the whole view easily would make me believe that I see the cover of a new The Cure or Depeche Mode album. Obviously, that’s not the case and eventually doesn’t really matter what the creators wanted to illustrate with it until the players like what they got. I’m one of them and like these hand-drawn like pictures, characters. Its atmosphere is special and can’t be said it would be too cordial but in its way it is attractive in artistic aspect.

The symbols this slot uses are dragon, butterfly, lucky horseshoe and X’ and O’s. Unfortunately, the pictorial richness weren’t transformed to the features because the game possesses weak extras. The duty of Wild is only for substitute for other symbols but with no multiplier or paying out qualities. There’s no bonus feature or scatter that would have value in itself just 2 figures that trigger free spins. Though they have different feature name but O’s and X’s have the exactly same parameters for extra games. They’re only appear on the 3 inner reels and three of them (they can’t be combined so or O’s or X’s) the free spins start. Every additional symbol from them during free spins gives one more spin. The initial number of 8 spins but lot of spins contains another 2 or 3 respective symbols so it easily can grow and in total it can be even 20-30. In vain are there a lot of spins or 243 ways to win but their rewards are very poor. I had an occasion when I got at least 30-35 spins but the final amount I won was just €15. Of course the free spins can be re-triggered.

Besides the curiosity of its look, the other segments of the game are bad. With not using at all multiplier it really cut the chance to win big, especially if I consider that the best paying icon means x1000 win. Sorry to say that but this slot is not from the good ones and it surely doesn’t fulfill my expectations.
