Neptune`s Gold is a video slot game that I have played quite recently and my over all experience was not that impressive. I have never played a game where it is so easy to activate the features but where you cannot win anything. I kept playing the game and hoping that something would happen, and it was not. I lost my money, not very fast since I was playing on min bet and I had around 50 euros on my balance, but at the end of my session I had nothing.

Neptune`s Gold is a 5 reels and 20 pay lines video slot game. There is only one special feature in this game and that is the free spins round. It is so easy to activate this feature since I did that many times during my session. You need at least 3 bonus symbols and then you have to pick one out of six chests to reveal the number of free spins and then a treasure item to reveal a multiplier. The first time I got 7 free spins with x 4 multiplier and I won 11 euros only. This was a good amount, it lifted my balance and I could continue playing.

In the Neptune`s Gold video slot game you can get between 4 and 7 free spins and between x 3 and x 6 multiplier. The next time I got 4 free spins and x 4 multiplier. Every spin was empty, and I did not win anything. I activated the free spins couple of times again, and it is so funny because I was getting the highest multiplier sometimes. In desperate situations, such as this one, it would be enough to get good symbols with this multiplier in one spin only.

Anyhow, I have made my decision, and that is to never play this game again and I leave it up to you whether you want to try it or not.

Neptune's Gold is one of the older slot games that are designed in Amaya.

The game has 20 fixed pay-lines and 5 reels. The design is simple and the sea blue color that dominates with the design is pleasing to the eyes.

By the ancient Greek and Roman mythology, the King Neptune's was the god of the sea and all sea creatures. Amaya takes us into the underwater sea world in search for the Neptune's Gold. What bothers me the most in this game is that, it pays poorly. If you look at the pay-table you will notice that it is possible to get a decent wins only with scatter symbols and that just in case you have 5 of these symbols, which in this case pay 200 x total bet. On the other hand 4 Scatter symbols will pay only 15 x total bet.

So now, 5 wild symbols on a pay-line pay 5000 x line bet which is not so bad. But my experience with this game is completely different. Even in the free spins feature I have never had wins greater than 50 x bet. Otherwise, the free spins can be reached with 3 bonus symbols anywhere on the screen. Total you can get is a minimum 4 and a maximum 7 free spins with a minimum 3 x and maximum 6 x multiplier.

Next, this is very stingy game when it comes to the number of free spins that can be obtained but on the other hand it is quite easily to come to the free spins feature. The minimum bet with which you can play here is 0.2 EUR per spin.

As this is a game with low volatility I recommend a higher bet. The last time when I played, I had around 50 euros on balance. But even beside of that I have chosen a bet of 2 euros per spin. That proved to be a good thing, because already after just a few spins I came to the free spins feature and 6 free spins with 6 x multiplier. In these free spins I had total wins from 46 euros. That's good, I earned something, but unfortunately wins from 23 x bet is so far one of my greatest at Neptune's Gold.

I always sympathized with slots that give a chance some adventures and it’s especially true for ones what lead me the underwater world where there’s so much things to discover. At first I was happy about to play with Neptune’s Gold from Amaya because I imagined some fun and enjoyment around a favourite theme but opening up the game this illusion quickly disappeared simply because I didn’t really like what I saw. The game has a very good graphics quality with proper and great colour usage, the design and arrangement are also decent, the transparent reel area, the sunken treasures and decorated colums in the background are also nice but I just don’t like the symbols the game uses. I don’t know why but they can’t really catch my attention as they are neither beautiful nor funny or amusing ones. It’s especially strange because there are animal symbols like dolphin, octopus, seahore, fishes and pearl, treasure chest, mermaid and Neptun but they’re badly drawn and absolute not attractive, at least for me.

Speaking about the gameplay segment, we can’t find here any special things just the well-known features and rules but they’re not among the best qualities. The Wild symbol has the ability to provide the best paying 5 of a kind type win and reward player with 5000 coins but this same win with Neptune icons just pays 300 coins which is a little bit poor and there’s too much gap between the two best paying line wins. Other than awarding this prize the Wild when substitutes for other pictograms it can multiply the wins resulting a double credited amount. Scatter can offer a nice gift if 5 of them appear on the screen which is manifested a 200 times of total bet earning.

The game’s only bonus extra part is activated after 3 or more Treasure Chest symbols become visible on the screen where we have a little work ahead of getting the free spins. A selection is required from 6 Chests to determine the number of free spins then we have to pick a Golden object among the found treasures to reveal the multiplier value assigned to the free spins section. Unfortunately, I experienced that it’s not always mean an automatically profitable little session because sometimes the free spins can come to an end without any remarkable winnings when the player’s wondering ‘What was that’? This partly can be thanked to the relative weak free spin qualities as we can play maximum 7 spins and even though the multiplier number can be up to x6 but in reality it never will be more than x 3.

Overall, this little game was a disappointment for me or just my initial expectation was too high for it but I have to say it’s not a good game. I think much more could have been brought out from this theme which never realized in visual and I also couldn’t find anything that I can like or really appreciate at game segment. It seems to me a barely average game without any distinctive marks and a not too well-rewarding payout qualities and I will be in big trouble if I have to say anything why I should recommend this slot, so it’s better if I don’t do this.

It seems that lately with only a few exceptions, all my attempts to find a good slot are doomed to failure. The same was with this slot, Neptune's Gold, that I found on a new game platform, at least for me (Amaya Casinos). To just say in one word, this slot is weak, although occasionally has some ambitions.

The slot has 25 paylines with a minimum bet of just 1 cent per line. What I hated here the most, is mainly the pathetic graphics quality. It is true there are classic slots which look close to this, but this is a video slot and in addition those classic slots that I have mentioned before usually offer nice gains unlike Neptune's Gold. So that, this video slot although it is not overly stingy it does not offer any chances to win either, and after you will play here a couple hundred spins you will find that you are still in general loss.

Like all slots of medium quality, you will find here, the 3 common features: the Wild symbols, the Scatter symbols and the Bonus symbols . Described one by one, the Wild symbols offer a 2x multiplier to the combination they enter, the Scatter symbols only offers a payout (almost insignificant for 2 or 3 symbols) regardless of where they are on reels (no extra round, no nothing ..) and at least 3 Bonus symbols trigger the Free Spins round. The number of Free Spins is quite small (between 4 and 7) as well as the value of the accompanying multiplier and they are chosen randomly opening some treasure chests.

Unlike most slots here the Free spins round can not be re-triggered. It happened to me two times that during the Free Spins, 3 Bonuses appeared again on the reels without any effect. The only consolation is that at least in my case the Free Spins were triggered more often, about once every 50 spins and during normal spins the wins were quite frequent though not entirely sufficient. Again, here on long term you will lose for sure. So much for this slot.

Unfortunately I have not a long story to tell you because of the banality of the game and because of the deplorable graphics.
