Narcos Video Slot NetEnt

Narcos Slot is a 5 reel, 243 ways to win video slot powered by the NetEnt software. This is a branded game based on the hit TV Series Narcos, an Amercican Crime Drama. NetEnt have even managed to incorporate some of the original characters alongside features that include Walking Wilds, Free Spins, a  Drive-by and Locked Up feature. You can try the Narcos Slot here at AskGamblers for free or at any NetEnt Casino in real mode.

Learn How to Place Your Bets

Before you can run for the cartel you’ll need to learn how to place your bets:

  • Coin denominations can be set by clicking the Coin Value +/- section. You should also set your +/-  Bet Level. Together these will form your total bet.
  • Hitting spin will set the reels in motion
  • You can also use the games Autoplay feature if you get tired of spinning the reels. Just set the amount of autospins you want and the game will automatically play them for you

Slot Features

NetEnt have not disappointed when it comes to the features included in the game. In the main game is has a Locked Up feature which is a mini-bonus game. Then it has a Drive-by feature transforming high paying symbols into wilds, along with Walking Wilds featuring in both the main game and free spins. The final showdown is then of course those Free Spins.

Locked-Up Feature

This feature is triggered during the base game and is like a mini bonus game. You activate it by landing 3 or more Locked Up symbols (the Pablo Escobar symbol) on the same row.  Once the feature has triggered the Escobar symbols move together and pay out a win value between 1x and 10x your total stake.

You’ll get a win-streak cluster mechanics based feature which will initially start with 3 spins where only Locked Up symbols and Golden Briefcase symbols appear on your reels. A winning cluster is then formed with 3 or more symbols connecting.

When the Escobar symbols connect you get up to 10x your stake however if the Golden Briefcase connects one of the following three things will occur:

  • Multiplier - Coin values that are directly connected to the cluster can be multiplied up to x3
  • Upgrade Symbols - Multiple upgrade values that come in increments of 1x your total stake are added to the symbols
  • Big Starting Value - The Golden briefcase symbol will be given an extra starting value

When a new symbol connects to the existing cluster your spin count will reset to 3. The feature ends when no more symbols connect to the cluster.

Drive-by Feature

This is also a feature that takes place in the main game and can randomly trigger during any spin. When the feature triggers a thug lets loose a hail of bullets from a getaway car onto your reels. Premium symbols will then turn into wilds to increase your chances of winning.

Walking Wilds

Typical with some of NetEnt’s other online slots, the Walking Wild is triggered when a Wild symbol makes up a winning combination. The Wild then stays on the reel and moves horizontally one position left with each spin. This continues until there are no more Wilds left on the screen.

Free Spins

The free spins come in the form of an epic shootout which is triggered when you land the three Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5. You’ll initially get 10 free spins and the Drive-by feature can also trigger during every spin too. The Walking Wilds could also come into play to further your wins even more.

If you’re a huge fan of the Narcos Series you’re going to love this but actually the game can still cater for those who haven’t watched the show. The game does seem to have some winning potential but certainly not as high as you’d probably like.

Free spins can be tricky to trigger and you’re more likely to trigger the Locked Up feature rather than free spins. However once free spins are triggered you do have the potential to win up to 1506x your total stake. The Locked-Up feature can pay up to 271x your total stake.

However with that being said NetEnt have packed in great visuals and outstanding production so why don’t you give it a spin and see what you think.

The ‘Narcos’ video slot from NetEnt Software, with 5 reels/243 Ways, Medium to High Variance. The game is based on the popular Netflix television show, on the story of Pablo Escobar, a Colombian drug icon.
The game evolves around the battle between the DEA officers and Drug Cartels.
The game has a few interesting features, including Walking Wild symbols/Drive-By Feature/Locked Up Feature and Free spins.

The slot is extremely entertaining & amusing to play. The opposite of boring. NetEnt has done it again. :)
It feels like something is happening all the time.
I played today this slot at a casino and happened to win 24,710 euros with a 280 e bet. Also before that I had scored several wins of some thousands of euros with that bet and slightly smaller bets. Just waiting for my money to arrive now from Skrill (total 30+ k). And all the winnings I scored from this game and had an extremely great time in the process. It's simply a 10/10 from me, nothing less. This is just as genial and extraordinary a game as Divine Fortune. True legends & classics already and in the future too. :)

There is nothing I dislike about this game, it could not have been designed any better than it is at the moment. It's perfection as it is. :)
That's it!

For sure Narcos is one of the biggest Netflix shows for sure and I am not surprised NetEnt saw it and decided to bring you back to Columbia in the 1970s when Pablo Escobar was at his prime. The first time when I tried the game, I expected that the slot is gonna be somewhat violent as tv show but NetEnt toned it down a lot which is great, but there is still a lot of action.

The Narcos slot has 5 reels and 243 paylines with a bet range of 0.20$ up to 400$ a spin, being great for low rollers and high ones. With an RTP of 96.23%.I must mention the overall design of the game a, the background, animations, music, and symbols are really well done, you can tell that NetEnt gave their best on this game.

There are a lot of unique symbols in Narcos that you won't see in many other games. There are four characters from the show featured. The Jose, Connie, Steve, and a Javier being top paying symbols and there are also flamingo and airplane symbols that are not paying bad either. The letter symbols J, Q, K, and A are really done unique as each one of them is wrapped up in some kind of weapon which makes you not hate them so much because they are low paying symbols. There is also (Wild) symbol that substitutes for all symbols except scatter.

The game has some interesting features, one of them is Drive-By feature that happens randomly during any spin, and will transform some of the high-value symbols into wild. The other one is what I like to call the Pablo feature, which you get by having at least 3 Pablo symbols in the same row which will give you instant payouts. Afterward, the features continue with 3 free spins being awarded where you will see only Locked Up symbols and images of golden cases. The cases are best as they can turn into extra spins, or win multipliers.
Free spins feature is activated when scatter(car) symbols appear on the 1, 3 and 5 reels. You will get 10 free spins with the Drive-by function triggered and the ability to get walking Wilds that can help you get some nice wins. However, I'm not a big fan of it because there is just so many teasing as the top paying symbols almost never turn into wild when drive-by feature happens.

The Narcos slot is almost addictive as TV show itself, I had many 80-100x wins on a Locked up feature that is my favorite, but the base game isn't disappointing either because of walking wilds that can pay huge or just save your balance a little with constant wins.

The only thing that will maybe keep me away is the volatility of the slot which is somewhat medium/high with the max payout being 1506x, there are many other great NetEnt games that can pay better on a low stake.
