Based on the legendary French general Napoleon who was a brilliant military leader back in the 1700's. Napoleon: Rise of an Empire has like a war theme and 5 reels with 20 pay lines. I must admit Blue print is very creative these days and release slot after slot lately.
The design here is simple. You’ll see lower value A to 9 card deck symbols alongside cannons, horses and sailing ships. The best of the standard symbols is the soldier – land 2, 3, 4 or 5 of those on the same pay line and you can look forward to an award of 20, 40, 60 or 200 times your stake, which is extremely rare in any slot these days.
Better still is Napoleon himself who act as wild and is the multiplier if substituting in a win. You can get up to x16 multiplier your win and 5 of kind wild pays x5000 your stake. That is possible, because I have seen some videos of people with 5 of kind wild.
On any spin during the base game, an animated Bonaparte symbol can appear on the reels and deliver a battle cry modifier feature. During this feature you either get extra bonus symbols or extra wilds on the reels. So, you will access the bonus feature or have a big win. I would prefer the wilds though, even though I only got the bonus symbols.
Land 3 bonus symbols on the same spin and you’ll trigger the free games feature. You are awarded with 10 free spins. Each spin triggers a winning streak feature similar like Jack Hammer. The specific spins continue until no more matching symbols are on the reels. Whatever wild symbol appears on the reels are on hold and multiply according to the pay table.
I like this slot although I have never seen a x200 win myself, but the potential is there. What makes me spin on this slot less is the fact that the base game is empty spins continuously.

Napoleon is a game from Blueprint gaming that I started playing only recently. I had never heard of the game before until I had seen some other players including streamers and the game seemed to have a lot of potential so I was curious to try it out.
The game has 5 reels and 20 and is inspired by Napoleon - I have to say that the design is quite simple but eye-catching enough. Also the game mechanics are simple which I like- there are wild symbols, bonus symbols that land only on middle reels and trigger a free spins bonus round. From the first moment I tried this game I noticed how high the volatility was and I believe its due to the wild symbols as they significantly increase any winning combination. Without them, for the most part it's difficult to get a decent base game hit, only one I had a win over 50x bet on base game and that was due to wilds on the screen.Â
The game is quite well-known due to it's bonus feature. For the 3 bonus symbols you get 10 free spins with the so called- Napoleon streak feature. It's quite appealing in my opinion, as there are no multipliers for the free spins but whenever you get any winning combination, the symbols will be locked in and additional respins will be granted until there's no new winning symbol landing. That's what makes it so volatile- I've had multiple times when I trigger the free spins and get anything between 0x to 10x bet win. However, I've also had a few decent hits around 100x bet, where only one spin gives a win, so I can imagine the potential it has.
Overall it's a great game, it has a lot of potential and because of that even the base game is exciting. The visuals are nice and bonus round is thrilling. However, it's a game with high volatility and therefore I'd suggest to be very careful when playing it, as dead spins are very common.
