Mystery at the Mansion is a 25-payline whodunnit video slot which runs on the NetEnt software platform. The mystery game’s scatter is the Mansion, the wild card is the Detective and the bonus symbol is the Colonel. Players are welcome to try their hand at the slot on this page for free or choose any of the NetEnt casinos from the listings to play the game for real money.
In order to begin solving the mysterious murder, players need to adjust their bet first. By clicking "Bet Level", players can choose the number of coins wagered per payline. The coin size, ranging from 0.01 to 0.5, is adjusted by pressing the "Coin Value" button. “Bet Lines” modifies the number of active paylines. While “Spin” starts the game, “Max Bet” turns the reels at the highest bet. Should players desire to play for a preset number of times without interruption, they can click “Auto”.
When 3 or more Mansions are scattered on the reels, Free Spins are activated. 3 scatters trigger 10 Free Spins, 4 scatters lead to 20 Free Spins and 5 Mansion symbols equal 30 Free Spins. Free Spin wins are tripled.
The appearance of 3 or more bonus symbols triggers the bonus game. First players need to identify the murderer, choosing out of 5 suspects. Then they need to identify the murder weapon and, lastly, players name the motive for the murder of the Colonel. There are wins every step of the way, even if the choices are wrong. If players choose correctly, then the total amount won is multiplied.
A 7500-coin jackpot will be awarded when 5 Detectives emerge on an active payline.

Mystery at the Mansion is a 5 reel 25 payline slot game from Netent software with bonus round and free spins. I hadn't played it before and the first time I did was at Kroon casino. When I started to play it, I couldn't ignore the huge similarities it has with a Rival software game called Moonlight Mystery. Not only the crime theme they both share and the similar name, but the Netent game even spins similar like this Rival game, the features it has look common too.
There is a bonus game, which starts if you get at least 3 bonus symbols from left to right. I had a few times when they weren't next together and then I didn't get a bonus round. In the bonus round you'll have to guess which of the characters is guilty in a crime, which weapon it used and for what reason. I got this bonus many times but I didn't get more than 4x bet win in any of them.
The most important feature in this game are the free spins. If you get 3 scatters, you'll play 10 spins with 3x multiplier (that happened to me a couple of times), if 4 scatters - 20 free games and 5 scatters give 30 free spins. Those last two I haven't experienced. And as in most games, there is a wild symbol too which substitutes for all wins except bonus and scatters.
I started to play 250 spins at Kroon casino, with the minimum bets of 0.25€ and within them I got few bonus rounds with not even 10x bet wins, and twice 10 free spins. At least the free spins paid decent, once it was a 16€ win but second time 9€. After that I doubled my bets in which I got 2 more bonus rounds and three times the minimum free spins so overall with this game I made a profit of 40€. Not much but not bad either.
I was a bit disappointed with this game. The look of the game wasn't the best, the payouts were decent but I just saw too many similarities in this game (even in bonus rounds and their symbols) and even though that comparing this game with Rival's Moonlight Mystery it is much better, I thought that this game was a little boring and I don't think I will play it again soon.
