Mega Money Mine is a fine example for minimum requirements of how a classic, land-based machine imitation video slot should look like. The design and layout are cleverly managed, the focusing area and the visibility are well-evolved, it’s colorful enough like a real machine but the vibrant lights fortunately were left out so this sometimes bothering factor is not an issue here and all the important information are easily readable on the screen without any problem so I think can say everything is given here what could well serve the visual experience.

The slot has a gold mining theme which is not really the subject of the slot, it just means there are 3 specific symbols (golden bars, crossed spades & shovels and Mega Money Mine main emblems) that can be connected with mining work besides the well-known participants like cherries, 7’s diamonds or Bars. It’s always sounds good and assuming a ‘serious’ product if a so-called ‘theme’ is assigned to a slot.

Mega Money Mine is a Progressive Jackpot slot and this is the most important or the only important thing that must be known about this game. It’s very easy to use and doesn’t have any rules or things that require the players’ attention except the fix stake the game has which is $1.5 at minimum, 1 coin selection. The slot can be played with 1-3 coins so the maximum stake is $4.5 and this is the stake number what’s required to have a chance for the Jackpot. If 3 Mega Money Mine pictograms land on the line and the maximum bet were used for that spin the top prize has just found its new owner. Vegas Technology worked out an interesting solution for that situation when the Jackpot is won but the bet was less than 3 coins, then not a fix multiplier number is used to determine the final won amount but instead the player’s award is a specific proportion of the Jackpot amount. So having that best line at 1 coin bet means the player’s reward is 15% of the Jackpot, and with 2 coins this rate is 30%.

I think this unique denouement is very player-friendly as I suppose these percentages put more money into the lucky ones’ pockets than what they would earn with the traditional used multiplier rules. After this Jackpot the main prize for basic symbols is 2250 coins what can be achieved with 3 Golden Bars on the payline. Unfortunately, for my bankroll the $4.5 stake is too much for a spin but playing with just $1.5 the payouts are good but the winnings aren’t occurred as many times as I’m used to at other games. Of course to play with this slot the player must have a decent bankroll because running into losing stretches can really cause some damage to the balance. Overall, the promise of winning the Jackpot is the main strengths of this machine but other than that I don’t think Mega Money Mine could be more than an average slot with good interface but limited game qualities.
