The main feature is the Wild. In this slot comes in with 2 versions. The regular wild and the stacked wild. The regular wild symbol,will replace other symbols on your screen. The super stacked wild will only appear on reel 3 and 4 during the base game but it would get stacked during Free spins feature. You can trigger the Free spins feature via 2 ways. The first way is that when you land, 3 or more of the scatters on reels you will get 25 free spins with a multiplier of 2x. While the other way,triggering the free spins feature is by collection of special tokens which is collected from the Tuareg trader symbols.

This Magic Of Sahara game, from All41 Studios, plays under Microgaming platform, but some may notice that the game’s play screen doesn’t follow Microgaming’s usual format. It’s a 9-paylines 5-reels 3-rows game, with a starting bet of only 0.09, similar to Break Da Bank Again, but everything else is different, and on the lower scale, so to speak.

Getting 5 Wilds would pay 133x the total bet, 5 Scatters would pay 100x, whilst the regular symbols would pay 55x downwards – not too bad win values I would say, but definitely better than those found in most newer games. The Wild symbol doesn’t double any wins with it, but it comes fully stacked on reels 3 and 4 in the base game, and fully stacked on all reels during the free spins, so that should make for more winning chances.

There are 2 ways to get free spins – by getting 3 or more Scatter symbols, or by collecting all 25 Tokens on the Chain (1 Token for every Old Man symbol). The number of free spins to be awarded varies, depending on how it was triggered. Collecting all 25 Tokens would award 25+5 free spins, but getting 3 or more Scatter symbols would award only 5 free spins plus the number of Tokens collected, up to 29 free spins. All free spins have a 2x multiplier, but that’s not really enticing enough. Worse still, there’s no retriggering possibility and there’s no bigger win multiplier, so that sucks!

I have played this Magic Of Sahara game on several occasions, but sadly though, not any single one of them gave a good game play or a good win. Even with 30 free spins and its 2x multiplier, the best win I could get was a mere 56x my bet amount. The fully stacked Wild symbols have yet to appear on 3 reels or more, so it’s definitely not easy to get. I guess getting all 5 Wild Reels may be possible, for a nice 2394x total bet maximum win, but even so, this Magic Of Sahara just couldn’t make me come back for more - at times, I even found it boring!
