Madame Destiny Megaways is one of the newest game releases from Pragmatic Play. Although I am not a big fan of the few Megaways games they have released so far, I was quite curious to try it. Reason for my curiosity was the fact that the game was a megaways version of their well-known Madame Destiny slot. From the first glance I quite enjoyed the fact that they have kept the theme of the fortune teller and in many ways it feels like an elevated version of the original game.Â
The game itself is your typical megaways slot- there's no base game feature, only a free spins bonus round. However, the bonus round has quite some excitement. I want to start by saying that even though the game is very volatile, I've experienced several wins in excess of 50x bet on base game. Aside from that,the bonus round is where you can get the mega wins.Â
With that being said, the bonus round is a huge hit or a miss. When you get 3 or more scatter symbols, you will get free spins. But before the free spins start, you will need to spin a wheel that will show your free spins and multiplier. While you can get good amounts, I usually get 8 free spins with 2x or 3x multipliers. What I think is unique is the way you can retrigger the bonus. For 3 scatter symbols in the bonus round, you will get both- additional free spins and whatever multiplier you had before + new multiplier. I personally haven't had the luck of retriggering the bonus round so far, but I've seen other players hitting big wins.
My best win was around 150x bet on the bonus round but other than that I've only had some mediocre wins of 50x-100x bet.
Overall this is one of the megaways games I do enjoy but would still be careful because of the volatility. The game offers a bonus buy option of 100x bet but I've done it a few times and return has been low. All in all, beautiful design, good potential but also very volatile game.
