It was only yesterday when I had thought to myself that there was only one zodiac-themed game from Microgaming, until I came across this Lucky Zodiac game. Nope, I have never played this zodiac game before, so I didn't know of its existence until now. SInce I intend to write a review on this game next, I gave it a quick test run to see how the game plays and pays, first in the fun mode, for about 1 hour, then in real money mode, which lasted for about 25 minutes or so. Yep, I just lost another small deposit trying out another unplayed Microgaming game. Why I can never win on 99% of Microgaming games I just cannot reason out.

The logo 'Lucky Zodiac' is the Wild symbol, 5 of which pays 150x the total bet amount, and is yet another dumb Wild symbol that doesn't do anything else but only to substitute for other symbols except for the Scatter symbol. Worse still, it even has a lower value than the usual of around 250x. The Firecrackers is the Scatter symbol, 5 of which pays 200x the total bet amount, which is quite good, and getting 3 or more of these Scatters trigger 12 free spins with up to 7x random multiplier. More free spins can be retriggered. Good if you can get it. The Monkey is also an Extra Wild during the free spins game, and 5 of them pays 50x the total bet. Hmm, a very low value for being an Extra Wild symbol. All the other symbols pay from 40x to 2.5x the total bet for 5 of each kind. Generally still a low paytable.

As quite usual for me whenever I play any Microgaming game, I always tend to get a very cold start each time. This Lucky Zodiac game wasn't being lucky enough for me, because it took over 300 useless spins to award the first Free Spins game, and this is not acceptable to me at all. If it had paid a nice good win, then I wouldn't be complaining so much, but it only paid me 32x my bet amount. What the argh! The next 2 Free Spins games came after 174 spins and over 200 spins from one to the next, but luckily I got a retrigger in the second Free Spins game, which paid a nice 104x my bet amount, and that helped me to play longer on the game. The 3rd Free Spins game came after well over 200 spins, argh, paid only 49x my bet amount, then it was down all the way to zero! Sheesh!
