Put your dancin' shoes on in Lucky Tango, a 20-line video slot with old-fashioned charm. This slot, developed by Leander Games, offers players a straightforward interface with a special free spins bonus round. Try Lucky Tango for free right here, or visit any of the below Leander Games casinos to play for real money.
Start a game of Lucky Tango by deciding how much you want to wager per spin. The “Line Bet” meter tells you how much money you are betting on each active payline. If you do not want to play all 20 lines, simply push the down arrow by the “Lines” meter. Start playing by pushing the green “Spin” button on the right, or use the Autoplay meter and push “Start” to spin a select number of times in a row.
Once the game starts, the reels will tumble down and the symbols will fall into position. If you get a winning combination from the leftmost reel to the right along any of the active paylines, you'll win according to the Lucky Tango paytable. Wild Roses make it easier to get winning hits, as do scattered Accordions. Best of all, if you get 3 or more Bonus symbols in any position to get the game's Free Spin feature, where extra Wild Roses can fall into the game after each spin.

Anyone feel like dancing? I certainly don’t but that didn’t prevent me from playing the video slot Lucky Tango. It’s one of those slots with a romantic theme just like Microgaming’s Starlight Kiss for instance. For those who don’t know, the Tango is an Argentinian partner dance which has proven to be quite popular in Southern American countries.
I never tried it out with my girlfriend before, but that’s just because I’m not into all those fancy moves lol. Anyway, back to reviewing the specifics of this slot. I played Lucky Tango like 7 months ago at Amsterdams Casino on 40 cents bets. The game has been produced by Leander Games and it really transfers that romantic vibe.
Lucky Tango contains 5-reels, 3-rows and 20-paylines. The minimum therefore is only 20 cents. The symbols are decorated with roses (wilds), hats, heels, guitars, lights, accordion (scatter) and the dancing couple (bonus symbol). Let me first make it clear that the scatter symbol doesn’t do much in this game apart from awarding a coin prize.
The main symbols to look out for are the roses and bonus symbols. The wild roses appear very often and a 5oak awards 5,000 coins which certainly isn’t bad. I came close one time with 4 wilds on a payline awarding me around 55x bet.
I played this game for maybe 30 minutes for a couple hundred spins. The wins did come in frequently during base game. Never big hits, but small hits can of course add up as well. After a while I was able to double my bankroll from 30 euros to 60 euros.
There is also a free spins feature. If you collect 3, 4 or 5 bonus symbols, then you get rewarded with respectively 10, 20 or 50 free spins. I never got more than 3 scatters for 10 free spins, but during free spins the wilds are much easier to get.
The main catch is that during some spins a few golden roses will be thrown on the reels which turn 3 random positions into wilds. If you already have some red roses appearing with the addition of gold roses, then this really could turn into a 5oak combo.
But again it wasn’t meant to be for me. Did not get further than 4 wilds like two times during free spins. My best hit in free spins is around 130x bet. Overall my experience with this low/mid variance game have been decent, and it's one of the very few games I enjoyed a small profit on.
Would have been nice if the free spins had a multiplier in place as well. Now it seems like the max that can be won is around 250-300x stake. Not bad, but people simply want a monster hit to be possible.
