The overall pinky tones creates a romantic atmosphere, although the graphics aren't that good and could be better. Oh well, it's an old game, so it doesn't matter. The Lady Bug and the Love Bug are the Wild symbols in this game, appearing only on reels 1 and 5 respectively. The Wild symbols substitute for other symbols except for the Scatter symbol, but doesn't pay anything for themselves, argh, and doesn't become stacked or expanded either. The Heart is the Scatter symbol, what else, and pays the usual 100x total bet for getting 5 of them. However, these are merely scatter symbols that don't trigger any free spins for getting them. Getting the Lady Bug on reel 1 and Love Bug on reel 5 simultaneously awards a feature game, whereby both bugs ride a gondola and pick 1 item out of 3 from 4 bridges, each item either awarding a cash prize, 10 free spins or a 2x multiplier Diamond Ring. Well, I would have thought that getting that Diamond Ring would get the bugs married off instead of just doubling the wins, but never mind, hahaha. This feature game may pay either only cash prizes, or a combination of all 3 items.

There are no multipliers at all in the game, except if you get that Diamond Ring for the free spins, but the game pays both ways, left-to-right and right-to-left. This is the only 20-paylines game that I know of that pays both ways. Usually it's only found in 9 or 10 paylines games. As for the other symbols, the House pays 5000x, the Diamond Ring pays 1000x, and the rest pay from 500x to 100x, all per line bet for getting 5 of each kind. Pity the Wild symbols don't pay anything for themselves, and no multipliers in the base game, otherwise this could have been a better paytable than a low one.

Not having any multipliers is bad enough, but the Wild symbol are not doing much to create better wins in this game. They should be doubling all wins with them. Depending on that one Diamond Ring to double wins during the free spins, if you do get them at all, is simply not good enough. Moreover, the maximum possible win in this game is only 500x the total bet, so that isn't much good either. I managed to get 2 Free Spins game in one of my sessions, but the payouts were only 32x and 19x my bet amount. On my other plays, I could only get the cash prizes, and even these were far from satisfying. Ah well, when bugs are in love, who cares about money, right? Wrong! Hahaha.

There are prizes falling from the bridges and the bug has to catch them. If it catches a diamond ring all the prizes are doubled and if it catches a necklace then 10 free spins are awarded. That did not happen to me, but I had to pick from 3 boxes on 4 bridges and the prizes were really small and all I won was only 12 euros. In the next bonus I got 7 euros and then I found the necklace and it gave me 10 free spins and I finished the bonus round with only 12.30 euros.

The game does not pay very well during the base game and also the bonus rounds are very weak as well. The only good thing is that you can trigger this bonus round very often so you can at least increase your balance a bit and not lose all your money at once. I always choose this game when I am desperate to increase my balance. I found the game to be very entertaining. It looks very childish, the background and the symbols too, but the bonus round was kind of always different so it was very interesting for me and not boring for a change.

I would never think that I will see this game here under Microgaming software, a bit odd if I may say, because from all I have seen this game is presented as a Microgaming, Cryptologic, but I am more familiar with this game coming from the WGS, software. You'll see 2 versions of this video slot 9 liner, 20 liner and 25 liners, wait a minute that's three of them so I guess this game is a bit popular or what. I mostly use the 25 liner and had played this game, many times, especially when it was given as a free roll tournament but have played it with my own money and have to say it I like this game a lot.

Love Bugs, Love Bugs Love Bugs. What can I say about this game? The first thing that springs to mind is awful. I have played it tones of times and have never managed to walk away with a profit. I have played this game on 1, 2 and 3 coins per bet and all of them were the same, horrible.

The game pays both ways and there are some nice pays. But no matter how much I play me never get a decent win and the feature is just disappointing. My biggest line hit was no bigger than €10 and that was on a 3 coin bet. Not surprisingly it gave me that win when I raised my bet and with that gave me a fake hope. That €10 was played in a minute and I was losing my own money once again. The game also gives a lot of good symbols but not on an active payline to give you that extra heart ache.
There is only one feature in this game. You get it when you get the bugs on first and last reels. Apparently you can win a ton of free spins on this game but I never managed to get even one free spin. Every time I get the feature and I must have got it a tones of times I just get cash prizes. And they are always small too. On the smallest bet the biggest amount I won on this feature was just over €7. I always hope to get the free spins but they are nowhere to be seen. Makes me wonder if they are actually there.

No matter how I play this game it is just not paying out. These days if I play it I am sure that I’m going to lose money. Yet I still play in search of those mysterious free spins.

Over all the graphics are ok but the sound effects are not my cup of tea. If I was to rate this game I would give it 4 out of 10.

Love bugs game is from Nextgen (now it is NYX), but it is presented in Quickfire portfolio games (actually quickfire have a lot of games from different providers, so I hope there is no surprise for you).

Like almost all other games from Nextgen, this one looks awesome. Symbols made good, and it looks good, and also I am always happy with this slots because they spin with their some special way, I can not explain this with words, and probably you did not notice it, but please try and see.

Games has 20 payouts, and unfortunately here we forced typical problem for many other slots from this software, there is nothing really special or interesting, and you can have ony single feature here - FS feature. But it is triggered its own special way, and it is interesting to see how it goes, just get wilds on reels 1 and 5, and you have feature, where you can get up to 40 FS with x 2 multiplier. Also I should say about wins from both sides feature which we can see in this slot, it is very rare for Nextgen.

I tried this game couple of times, but all my experience was in Skill on net casinos, games from Nextgen I preffer to try only there. To be honest my experience with this slot is awful, I tried it in probably 10+ occasions, have many freespins feature, but somehow never managed to bet x 100 total bet feature result mark. Every time I tried this slot, I lost pretty much, and when finally hit freespins feature, but it does not cover my losses. I can not say that i am happy with this slot.

I rate this slot with 5 stars, I love Nextgen games, it is awesome software creator, but this video slot is definitely not their best slot, and better tried some other games to have better experience.
