Lions Share is among the very few 3-reel slot games at Microgaming casinos that I play frequently simply because I enjoy it and has great payout. It has 1 paying line with a potential 8000 coins in return if we play with 3 coins. The bets can be varied from $0.25-$15 what’s mean if 3 Lion main symbols form a line, in the worst case with minimum total bet ($0.75) could still give us a respectable $2000 win. Imagine, what you would do if it happened at the max. $15 bet. I like at this game that I’m not forced to play with 3 coins if I want to win the main prize correlating to 1 coin. Of course increasing the number of coins also increase the winnable amount but proportionally it remains the same.
Besides the Jackpot, the Lion figure is also responsible for Wild function. It substitutes all other symbols and doubles or quadruples the winning depending on how many of them take part on the payline. The other icons the cherries, bars and coins, but even the second best Coins have a very acceptable x900 multiplier.
Like some other traditional slot machines I used in the past to get out of wagering requirements, Lions Share proved its usability for this purposes. I had a once a 2-hour segment with it at $0.50 in a rollover run and when I finished playing that day my balance was decreased just around $50 but almost $1100 was already wagered. I usually play it with $0.50-$1.50 bets and in my experience it gives back surprisingly many bars in every combinations and lot of them match each other. So far my biggest win was 2 Coins mixed by a Lion but it was played by $0.50 so the profit couldn’t be more than $300. Of course the 2 best winning lines appear very rare but I saw 3 Coins four or five times.
For me it’s an enjoyable game though not the best of its kind. I like its relatively good payouts and fine appearance and of course there’s the x8000 potential in it so I can say I got everything what I minimum expect from a classic machine.
