This is another one of Rival's 50-paylines games, released about 2 or 3 years ago, which seems to be Rival's new trend until now. Gone are the days of 20 and 25 paylines games, which are my favourite kind, unlike these 50 paylines games which tend to eat twice as fast and twice as much too. Frankly speaking, the payout structure of Rival games really need to be revamped and reconsidered, especially their paytables and the tendency of very low payouts in both the base game as well as during the free spins. Most of the time these are very disappointing indeed. And Rival could do with a good upgrade of their games' graphics presentation too.

In this Lion's Roar game, the Close-up Lion is the Wild symbol, but it doesn't pay anything for itself. What a big shame! It doubles all wins with it, and expands with wins only during the free spins but doesn't double the wins, what the argh! Why this needs to be so, I cannot reason out. The Wild symbol also substitutes for other symbols except the Scatter symbol. The Lion Cubs is the Scatter symbol, also another dumb symbol that doesn't pay anything for itself, but getting 3, 4 or 5 of them triggers 10, 20 or 50 free spins with all wins doubled. Getting 3, 4 or 5 more of these Scatters during the free spins trigger 3, 6 or 15 Roaring Free Spins, with the Wild symbol paying 5x for wins. Hmm! Honestly speaking, getting those 3 free spins is really peanuts, because at times, those 3 free spins could pay nothing at all, at most other times, they could really pay peanuts! A very big disappointing Free Spins feature, I must say! As for the other symbols, the Male Lion pays 3000x, the Female Lion pays 2000x, the Young Lion pays 1000x, and the rest pay from 750x to 50x, all per line bet for getting 5 of each kind. More like an average paytable, but I'm not so keen on it, so I'll rate it as a low paytable.

I have to admit that the several Free Spins games that I managed to get all paid very poorly, very much to my disappointment. The payouts, including those from the 3 Roaring Free Spins game, could not even exceed 15x my bet amount, all paying between 1x to 15x only. The Roaring Free Spins are probably the most disappointing, what with that lousy 3 free spins that could end without getting any Wild symbol and a zero win. This is totally ridiculous if you ask me! Getting those Free Spins game was already a hard task, then getting a zero payout from the Roaring Free Spins was totally unacceptable. This was exactly what that Wild Desire feature in Immortal Romance did to me! Absolutely ridiculous to get a zero win from a hard-to-get feature game!

Lion's Roar Slot is one of the last video slot games that has appeared in the Rival casinos offer. The game has 50 pay-lines and 5 reels. Of course, in accordance with the theme the largest numbers of symbols are symbols with the lions. Beside to the symbols with the lions there are also poker and symbols that represent a various items used by the Masai (tribe that inhabits the African savannah).

When it comes to the graphics and the game design, Rival has tried a little harder to make a good game. Everything is on a top level – the graphics, the animation and the sound effects. From features here you have the free spins feature. The free spins feature itself consists of two features as follows: regular and roaring free spins. The regular free spins can be reached in a classical way i.e. with 3 or more Scatter symbols. Depending on the number of the scatter symbols you can get from 10 to 50 free spins. But, if during the regular free spins you get 3 or more Scatter symbols then you come to the Roar free spins. The difference between Regular and Roar free spins is that in the Roar free spins the wild symbol comes with a 5x multiplier and in the Regular without multiplier. In both free spins features the wilds are expanding.

Although this game has appeared a few months ago I have tried it for the first time just a few days ago and that was on one new Rival casino called the Golden Lion. Here I made straight 100 spins. In those 100 spins I managed to reach the free spins feature once and that was only the Regular free spins feature. The total wins I've had in the free spins were really disappointing 4.3 euros on a 0.5 euros bet. Lion's Roar is not a game that has impressed me a lot but it will get a positive rating from me mostly because of that visually it looks fantastic. For this game I give 6 out of 10 possible stars.

Lion's roar slot is another game by rival. To be honest, this is probably best their game i ever played, not sure even why. Probably because it was released not so long ago, and it looks not so bad, and also sounds are a bit more better than usual ones.

This slot has 50 paylines, so you should expect and know that min bet here is 0.50 per spin, but i am sure that at rival casinos this is not problem, they famous for awarding no deposit bonuses, and huge deposit bonuses. I think i am even saw somewhere 10.000% bonus for deposit, so yeah, rival casinos this is a place where you can feel yourself like highroller.

Base game here is boring and you can not expect anything interesting during it. It is just needed to achieve a freespins feature which is great, so just use autoplay, or on your TV and watch it, until you hit freespins. Because really, freespins coming quite rare, it is hard to trigger it.

Freespins here are awesome. To start freespins it is needed to get 3 or more scatters. Then you get 10 freespins with x 2 multiplier and expanded wilds on all reels. With 50 lines it is possible to hit huge here. Once i had 3 wilds, on 1, 3, 4 reels, and won x 600 total bet. Unfortunately that was with no deposit bonus, but at least i clear no deposit bonus and withdraw 100 dollars for free, so everything is not so sad.

Overall game looks good, but it is definetely high variance online slot. It is better to not play it with high bet if you do not need to wager a lot, or playing with real cash without any bonus. Game is a bit boring at base game, and it is sad.

Lion’s Roar has 50 paylines and is created in Rival software company. For a long time I have rarely played in Rival casinos and I guess this is one of the latest slot games created by Rival. The slot games coming from this software provider usually have a small number of paylines 15 or 20 but there are few like this one which have 50 paylines.

The graphic is standard for a Rival slot but it doesn't point out with anything special compared to the other games created in Rival. The theme for this game is the African Savannah and the lions which are called the king of all the animals. All that I have written so far is my first impression with this game. I took a no deposit bonus in Desert Nights casino and wanted to try this game.

I set my bet to 0.50 euros per spin. My 50 euros which I had as a starting balance in this game started to melt very fast. After about 15 or 20 minutes of play I lost about 20 euros. During all of that time I had only a few wins bigger than my bet. I started thinking about changing the game and try Lion’s Roar some other time. But then I got 3 scatter symbols and 10 free spins. From these free spins I cashed in over 60 euros. So this was the first time I got the free spins bonus in this game and had a win of over 100 x bet. During the free spins in the game if a wild symbol appears on some of the reels than it expands over the entire reel. On the sixth free spin I got wild symbols over the third fourth and fifth reel. And that’s not all. During the free spins all wins are doubled.

Lion’s Roar is a good game and it seems to me it can be very generous in the free spins bonus.
