Okay, so here we go with yet one more Book game, this time it’s John Hunter and the Book of Tut, by none other than the King of Games Recycler, Pragmatic Play. There’s also a sequel to this game, entitled Book of Tut Respins, but we’ll go to that maybe later on, or maybe not at all.

What more can anyone say but “if you’ve played a Book game, then you’ve played all Book games”. In a way that’s true, but not all the time though. Some versions have added additional feature or features into it, giving slightly different game plays and winning possibilities, and all for the better of course. This Book of Tut game, however, is a basic one, or should I say, the original kind one.

Needless to say, almost all Book games play with 10 paylines and with a minimum starting bet of just 0.10 per spin. This is why I like them a lot and still play Book games whenever I get the chance. The maximum win is also an attractive point to consider, being 5000x the bet for getting all of the top paying symbol, which in this game is the John Hunter symbol, and also that the 10 free spins feature game can be retriggered quite a number of times too. Some games have no retriggering possibility at all, so I don’t really like such games.

I’ve played this Book Of Tut game on numerous occasions and at various casinos as usual, but most of the time I wouldn’t be able to get any good wins from it. It’s a really hard game to play and to win on, but on one lucky day, Lady Luck was with me, and I managed to get all of the second top symbol, the Anubis, or is that a Golden Cat instead? Anyhow, it gave me a nice 802x win for once, but no more after that, even till today. Never even got close to getting all of John Hunter symbols, but that’s normal I guess. Only on one game by Playtech have I ever won the maximum win of 5000x, not once but twice. In fact, I’ve never had any maximum win on any of Pragmatic games, and that’s why I don’t really like them.

This game uses a classic format in the world of slots, with 5 reels and 3 symbols. we find on John Hunter and the book of Tut 10 symbols which each have a different value. all the symbols have a connection with ancient Egypt and are divided into 2 categories: the classic symbols having the lowest value and which appear most regularly during the game and the premium symbols which appear rarely because they have a high value.
The John Hunter and the book of Tut game does not offer many bonus features, it offers the opportunity to access a bonus feature in which free spins are offered. the free spins bonus is obtained when at least 3 books appear. sometimes I play for a long time without the 3 books appearing, in this case and if my casino balance is sufficient I buy the bonus from John Hunter and the book of Tut for an amount equivalent to 100 times my bet. I have purchased the bonus several times but never have I won double the value of my purchase.
Among the Pragmatic Play games under the theme "Book" I prefer to play only two slots: Book of Fallen and John Hunter and the book of Tut since I managed to achieve some nice wins. but being considered a very volatile slot, you should not hope to always win. I never play more than 100 spins, if the 100 free spins don't result in anything I stop and go back afterwards. you should never insist and continue to play a slot that pays nothing.

The love and hate, the trauma of spinning these reels, the teases of the last book scatter on the 5th reel and live chat operators giving me these free spins by default without asking possible options to consider for different games are some of the few things I'd say about John Hunter and the Book of Tut!

There's almost always a tease when there are two scattered books, leaving the last reels to fate when a 3rd book scatter will appear. But at other times, the reels will pass up the scatter or even glitch another book to trigger it based on my personal experience.

One time, I had 50 free spins total on Bling Boyz that needed to be reissued due to Spinz restricting that specific slot, valued at $0.60 per spin. I waited for a chat operator, but I was cut off from communications. A few minutes later, an email came to me on Spinz saying they reissued the free spins, one of the values of the 25 free spins was at $6 per spin which I thought was a complete mistake. A slot from Pragmatic Play based on an Ancient Egyptian theme. The slot has 5 reels and 3 rows and a total of 10 lines which is common for book game type of slots.

The slot comes with a feature game like any good slot and this is done as usual, 3 scatters or more to trigger the feature game. Scatters can appear anywhere on the 5 reels and as usual the bonus feature game is about the game choosing a special symbol that will get expanded during the feature.

The game offers a max win of 5000x which is good and is a common max win for pragmatic play games better than some other slots including those from pragmatic.

Played a couple of sessions on this slot in total over 5000 spins and I have found that the game was good in that it gives the features at around 165 spins per feature so you don’t have to wait too long for a feature to show itself.

It has to be said the feature on average paid a very good 94.5x and the best being 408.5x, can’t complain about that now.

When it comes to the base game that did give me a best win of 75.5x and while I prefer the feature game, the base can still keep the balance going while the player waits for the feature to get triggered.

Can be a good slot for bonus wagering as I did use it a lot in one of those bonuses which I did finish the wagering with even though I was playing the 96.5% RTP version but luck overcame lower RTP.

As for the RTP that is with this slot, it plays on 96.5% however I played it at a casino with 94.5% and while I was still able to get a profitable session from it in several thousands of spins, I would have liked to play this on the 96.5% for an even better gameplay experience, but luck matters most than RTP.

There were some occasions when the feature took too many spins to arrive, one of those was 828 spins and another was 548, thus the slot while on average taking 165 spins, can do this at random times as many other slots do as well.

The theme of ancient Egypt is not the best theme to use on a slot in my opinion as I have a preference for other types of themes, the Egyptian theme has been around for decades for slots, how many more decades will they use this theme to play slots.

Book of Tut is another addition to the John Hunter series and this slot just like other book slots follows the similar mechanism of expanding symbols. The slot is a 5 reel, 3 row slot with 10 active pay lines. The slot grid placed in a desert which suits the entire john hunter theme. Ally symbols pay left to right and you need a minimum of 2 premium symbols and a minimum of 3 card symbols to give you a winning hit. The highest paying premium symbol is John Hunter which pays 500x, Pharaoh symbol that pays 200x, cat and scarab symbol that pays 75 times your bet size. The card symbols A and K pays 15x and the lowest paying symbols are Q, J and 10 symbols which pay 10x your bet size. The minimum amount you can bet on this slot is 10 cents. The slot also has a wild symbol which is a book and it also acts as a scatter. Hitting 5 scatter symbols gives you a win of 200 times your total bet size. The bonus feature is like other book slots where landing 3 scatters lands the bonus and you get 10 free spins where a symbol is chosen randomly and this symbol expands on the minimum hit requirement of premium or card symbols. The bonus can re-trigger multiple times and you can win a maximum of 5500x your bet size. The bonus can also be bought for a price of 100x your bet size.

John Hunter and the Book of Tut is a classic book-type slot from Pragmatic Play. I might be wrong but I believe it was one of their first games that included a bonus buy feature. The slot is inspired by Ancient Egypt theme and includes their famous John Hunter as the main character.

At first glance I wasn't too excited to try this game as it seemed like something that's been done before. And that's quite true. The game is a classic book slot with 5 reels and 10 paylines and the only bonus feature is a free spins bonus round, triggered by book scatters. But with that being said, I think it's a good option if you enjoy book slots. I've played it many times and I enjoy the fact that it is so simple in it's design and features yet it has good winning potential.

For 3 scatters you get 10 free spins with a special, expanding symbol. My experience with the bonus round is that for the most part I would get a letter symbol as the special symbol, but even then you can get a decent balance boost, as a full screen of Aces pays 150x. I haven't had any big wins with the John Hunter symbol but I've had a few 300x bet wins from other top symbols. Because of this bonus feature and the simple design it has become one of my favorites from Pragmatic Play.

All in all, this is a classic game- the design is nice and while it's not feature rich, it has good winning potential. Also I've tried buying bonuses and the average return I have had was about 50x-80x bet. I also think that the bonus buys are decent as they cost 100x bet and the game itself has 10 cent minimum bets, making it a great low-rolling slot. If you enjoy games with classic, one expanding symbol mechanic, I would recommend trying it.

This release of John Hunter and the Book of Tut from Pragmatic Play is the fourth installment in their John Hunter series, and it has all the makings yet another winning game. It is a highly volatile slot that can award you up to 5,500x your bet. Players with a bigger bank balance that enjoy high-risk slots will love this game as there is a good chance of hitting a massive win when you do hit the jackpot. However, the more casual player will perhaps want to look elsewhere for something maybe a little less risky.

While the visuals are an improvement over the original, you would expect that it would be much more so after there has been more than a decade of technological advancements. This slot has the classic setup featuring 5-reels and 3-rows with 10 paylines and has an RTP of 96.50% which is decent enough. And If you enjoyed playing the original, then you should enjoy playing this version as well, because the formula for winning is much the same as with the earlier versions of the game.

One of the latest releases of Pragmatic Play is titled ‘John Hunter And The Book Of Tut‘. A video slot with a classic setup of 5 reels, 3 rows and 10 Paylines. A medium variance slot, due to the set RTP of 96.5% and max win at 5.500x your bet. This is the 4th John Hunter slot in the series so far. John Hunter in this episode returns to the desert to seek for another Book with one perception in mind…the Gold.

The visuals and artwork standing on decent levels, except sounds. The highest paying symbol is John Hunter, which pays 500x for 5 Of a Kind. Landing 3 or more scatter symbols during one spin will trigger the ‘Free Spins’ feature. This will award 10 Free spins and one randomly selected special expanding symbol, while re trigger, can apply.

Overall, this game has the basic potential on offer but shows nothing revolutionary.
