Jewel Blast is another variety of Quickspin's Illuminous and some other similarly based games, having both regular Wild and Bonus Wild symbols, but without any Scatter symbols and without any Free Spins feature game. What the game offer is only the Respins feature when 2 or more of the Bonus Wild symbols appear on the reels. What wasn't as enjoyable was the paytable, typical of all Quickspin games, with extremely low win values for all the regular symbols. In this instance, the regular Wild symbols pay slightly better, but still having a very low 20x the total bet amount for getting 5 of them, and the Bonus Wild symbols can only substitute for all the other symbols, nonetheless, meaning having a maximum win value of 20x the total bet. The regular symbols start at 2x down to just 0.4x the total bet for getting any 5 of them, so these values really sucks!

Even though Jewel Blast is nothing more than a simplistic game, but playing it can be exciting indeed, especially when lots of those Bonus Wilds keep appearing on the reels during each respin! I've had several rounds of those Bonus Wilds appearing, blasting away adjacent symbols, followed by more Bonus Wilds coming down onto the reels, so the respins kept on going for several rounds. Sadly though, no thanks to the blardy low paytable, the payouts that I've gotten so far have not exceeded 100x my bet amount, but I'm pretty sure that this is not impossible to achieve - just needing more and more plays on the game.

Nonetheless, I personally find that this Jewel Blast game is worth giving at least several tries, but not hoping to get any big wins from it. Quickspin game designers made sure that no big wins could be won by any player, unless playing with ridiculously big bets per spin! The amount won may be big, but the win ratio would still remain small! Well, I do like playing the game, but I don't think I would spend more money on it. There are many more better paying games out there, but none from Quickspin! Hehehe.

When there no visible bonus wild symbols on the screen the feature ends. This feature are triggered a few times at least in 100 spins, well at least for this happened.

Since this game does not have a free spins feature, I would say this game is purely focused on the base game as everything happens in base game and you could win big. The most I won was around x30 my bet on a good blast feature and average x4 – 7 my bet on blast and base game on good days. You would average win around 7/10 spins on this game and it balance your cash nicely. You would need to play this game when you are relaxing and not trying to go for the quick big win scheme. Time is needed in this game to generate revenue. Overall this is a great game.

Although the game often wins and provided some reasonable winnings, I think this game is missing a multiplier. It can be an extra bet similar like the hidden valley extra bet to increase wild multipliers or something similar.

Any winning will be paid out between each blast wave. This bonus ends when no more bonus wilds are present on the reels.

When I first looked into paytable I was a little bit surprised, because most of Quickspin software games offer more than one bonus. And I expected here at least two features because Jewel Blast has 25 paylines. Even if it has only blast bonus I played it for some time on minimum bets.

The main game is not so interesting for me because of all small payouts which I got. I rarely got winnings around x10 bet from main game, sometimes it was hard to get any win at all. I received blast bonus a couple of times, my best results from it was around x20 bet.

I think this bonus is designed good, but the payouts are just too small here. I do not think I will play more this game just because of that. Sometimes it was really hard to get 2 bonus symbols on the reels, I made over 100 spins without any bonus which is not so cool - for the game which has only one bonus.
