The ‘Hocus Pocus’ Deluxe slot, is an updated version of ‘Hocus Pocus’slot by Merkur Software with 5 reels and 40 Paylines.
This has brought up some changes in the game, in a way where the graphics look more alive with great details while the Wild symbols still remain such as the Wizard’s hand, helping you complete even more lines thanks to the doubled amount of lines. Considering the fact that the lines have been increased... 'You will get more winnings out of the same symbols'.

In terms of gameplay, remains the same. The Scatters consuming your balance, making a difficult to achieve some earnings. At that point, assuming that the variance has been increased… So proceed with caution, only when your balance is Solid.

The only positive things playing this slot are the big number of paylines and that occasionally one can win something, otherwise the slot is weak.

A few months ago I got a bonus from Paltin Casino and I played for the first time a Merkur slot. At the end of my stay in this casino, I had a total unfavorable impression although I tried almost all the slots here. Unfortunately, the main characteristic of all Merkur slots is that they are very weak. It is true that Hocus Pocus has 40 lines while the majority of Merkur slots have 6-10 lines, but still it remains weaker than the average. And the slot is in my opinion weak, not because one cannot win occasionally nice, but because it has some weak graphics and hardly the spins follow one after another. To play here 100 spins you need at least 15-20 minutes and a lot of determination. It is like at the beginning of each spin the game stutters (and it is not the fault of the computer or of the game being too stuffed with graphics, just this way was “made” the slot by its creators).

As symbols in Hocus-Pocus you will find different geometric figures (triangles, rectangles, circles, prisms) and a few more symbols belonging to the world of magic (a magician, a book of magic, a wizard hat, etc). Sometimes the wins come in succession one after another and for a bet 40 cents/40 paylines, you often win 1-2 Euros in a row. Sometimes, the slot does not offer any payout no matter how long you keep playing. From the 6 Free Spins about 1 or 2 are winning. Sometimes you can win extra Free Spins, but I did not understand under what conditions (3 dices that do not appear in the base game brought me another 10 Free Spins).

Like I said neither the wins nor the payouts make this slot to be weak, but its design and how the game goes on as it is played. One can say that the designers of the Merkur slots still have much to learn.
