Wish it could be frosty more of the time, but no way, the sun must come out and shine one day. The logo 'Happy Holidays' is the Wild symbol, paying only 50x the total bet for 5 of them. Oh shucks! That's too low, and Santa is going "ho ho ho"! The Golden Ball Decor is the Scatter symbol, paying 100x the total bet for 5 of them as usual. Getting 3 or more of these scatters trigger 10 free spins with all wins tripled. Hmm, 10 free spins is not a lot, but playing them with 1024 ways to win is good enough for anyone. Symbols wise, Santa+kid pays 26.6x the total bet for 5 of them, Kids+presents pays 16.6x, Snowman pays 13.3x, Kids+sleigh pays 10x, Christmas Tree pays 6.6x, and the rest paying 3.3x to 1.6x, all per total bet for 5 of each kind.

Always watch out for the Snowman, because this icy thing can transform itself into any of the high paying symbol to give the highest win possible during the Free Spins game. They are triggered with 3 or more scatter symbols and from my experience they aren't so hard to trigger. Then you play 15 free spins and although they don't have a multiplier, a couple of times I've had over 100x bet win in this feature. That has happened when I had 5oak winnings one after another and again- it's not that hard to get such good combinations, because there are wild symbols and 2 symbols on free spins can change to any symbol, which is very useful.

Then this game also has a Frosty feature, which is similar to pick me bonus, but in here you don't pick anything. This feature comes up randomly after a non win spin, it frozes 5 highest pay symbols and reveals the wins they hold. The first time I didn't expect much from this feature because usually this kind of bonus hasn't got high payouts, but this was a pleasant surprise. With this game mostly I got from 40- 60x bet winnings, which is a great balance booster in base game, yet again in one session I've triggered it around 5 times and that is a good result, in my opinion.

I like the theme in this game and this is the reason why I opened it. I had on my balance only around 20€ and I decided to play this game first.

The base game is not so interesting. I had only small winnings and while I was playing it my balance just falling down towards zero. When I almost lost all my balance, I triggered free spins feature. Here free spins feature is ok, it starts on higher pay ways. There are 1024 pay ways into free spins and I like this because it could offer bigger winnings. But when I triggered it I had only small winnings and I was really disappointed about this game.

I expected much better payouts during base game and also from free spins feature. At the end I lost money on this game and I do not think I will play it again in near future.

The graphics and theme are good, but all the rest is a disappointment for me at this game. I think Microgaming created bad video slot.

The pay outs at this game is bad. I expected much more from it, for 5 of the kind symbols I expected bigger pay outs especially during free spins feature. Design and ambiance are very important aspects in a slot, but we must not forget that in the world of gambling everything revolves around money, and this is where "Happy Holidays" shows some weaknesses; firstly rates on the paytable are too small in my opinion, even for a slot of 243 ways to win, and this affects not only our earnings during the base game but during our rounds of free spins.

Furthermore, the likelihood of triggering a free round on the traditional way, with the occurrence of 3 scatters, it seems to be quite low, although this may not seem as improbable as the activation of the "Frosty Feature", which I could not access during my first long session or during the next. In general, I see very difficult the possibility of profit in this game, the combination of a weak paytable and a couple of hard-to-trigger features is pretty discouraging even for the most optimistic player.
