Happy Circus

Happy Circus is a 5 reel 25 payline slot from Topgame I know for some time now and I have to say it is one of my least favorite slots all time. First of all it is inspired by circus theme and not only that I dislike circus where animals are involved, I find the design of this slot childish. All the symbols seem too cartoonish and in my opinion this slot is too colorful and makes my eyes hurt after some time.

Second reason why I dislike this slot is the payouts. Minimum bets for this game are 0.25€ per spin and in the base game even with the wild symbols I haven't ever got a win over 20x bet. Usually I would get from bet size-10x bet winnings. And what is bad thing- if you're betting with minimum bets like I do, then both of the bonuses will be without any multiplier.They overall are without any multiplier attached, but the bonus round winnings are multiplied by your bet per line. So when I've played with 0.50€ bets where bet per line is 0.02€, and had bonus round win of 2.25€ I would end up with 4.50€ win, while those times I've had won with minimum bets, the win would be only 2.25€.

I found the bonus round itself boring and with low payouts, it is triggered when you get 3 or more bonus symbols on a payline, which is quite easy to do. Then it becomes a pick me bonus where few items (gifts in this case) hold coin winnings and few are empty. Mostly I would get an empty gift and would receive 45 cent win and the winnings overall there haven't exceeded 10x bet, so it doesn't make this bonus very exciting and even graphically it isn't enjoyable.

Free spins is another feature this game offers and there is nothing special about it, no extra wild symbols or some multiplier. For scatters you get 10 free spins and only once I've had 4 scatters, that gave me 15 free spins to play. I don't like this bonus because I don't think it has good winning potential because of the lack of extra features there. My personal high score on this bonus and slot overall hasn't exceeded 40x bet and that is upsetting.

The very last reason for my dislikeness is the autoplay. This slot is one of Topgames old games and they all share unenjoyable autoplay. I always play with autoplay option and here after a win it stops for about 10 seconds, once when I had a bigger winning combination with many lines involved, it took almost half minute to continue with the next spin, so when I play this game I avoid autoplay and that makes it more difficult for me.

Overall this is an average slot I wouldn't recommend. Neither it has given me big winnings or given me a fun time, design isn't for my taste and I don't think there are good winning potential. There are better games to play, even from Topgame software.
