Golden Shamrock has 20-paylines, and 3 or more scatters award a random number of free spin and a random multiplier. I've had them ranging from 7 free spins and 1x multiplier, up to 15 free spins and 3x multiplier. I must have had the free spins more than 75 times.
The frustrating part is that the free spins can be retriggered during free spins when you get 2 or more Shamrocks. You pick one and either receive additional free spins or an additional multiplier. On average I win less than 10x bet size with those free spins and countless multipliers.
I've seen screenshots of this slot paying more than 1000x bet size (5 pots of gold), so I'm aware of its potential. However, not for me since I can't hit a decent price no matter how long I play this game. This slot even has 3 expanding wilds appearing only on reels 2, 3 and 4. I had them all 3 appearing at the same time multiple times, but yet have never won more than 50x my bet size.
The final straw for me was when I had 15 free spins and a 5x multiplier at some point, and didn't win more than 5x my bet size. I haven't played it since and I don't plan on going back to be honest.
