I really like everything about the design of this slot, children's drawings about Christmas, gift boxes and figures-shaped cookies seem great to me, even the music used as background seems very nice even when it is not Christmas on this month, the reels also rotate fast and in a pleasant way, but this is all what I like about "Gingerbreadbread Lane", a slot released by "Genesis gaming" during December 2014 that seems to have not been very successful since there don’t seem to be many comments about it on gambling forums during the month of its release and also throughout the year 2015, it just seems to have been forgotten almost from the moment of birth; personally it has not seemed a generous slot to me, I know we're not at Christmas time and it's not time of gifts, but a fair play system would have been enough for me; the paytable is somewhat tight, but what most disappointed me of this video slot is to see how difficult it is to get a decent payout, both during the base game and during the free spins round, all this primarily because usually you get very few combinations with the highest symbols of the game, and if you do, normally you do not get combinations larger than 3 of a kind, so that you keep only the poor payouts offered by symbols represented with letters and numbers.

As for the round of free spins, I must say it is very exciting to see all those boxes of gifts there ready to be opened, but first of all, to access this bonus round is a difficult task, and second, usually here no more than 10 free spins with x2 multiplier are obtained, sometimes only 5, which it would not be a bad thing if this were a slot with a decent hit average, but I must say that hitting combinations during these spins seem even more difficult to do than during the base game, additionally wild symbols appear to be scarce during the free round, hence my disagreement with this game is all about money, it does not seem really fun to watch how a slot eats quickly your credits spin after spin without seeing a possible way to get out from a slump; "Genesis Gaming" has other slots I really love, but unfortunately this is not a bit like them IMO.

Gingerbread Lane is nice Christmas themed video slot. It has 25 paylines and I played it this month. I really had a good feeling when i opened this game and I had some nice winnings too.

The game offer nice graphics and sounds. The base game is good. I had nice winnings there. Wild symbols appears quite often during base game and they increases your winnings. This game offer good paytable. My best win during base game was around x 50 which I think is great.

The free spins feature is also good. After the feature is triggered, the second screen will appear with many presents for the players to choose from. You have to pick one box and you will be awarded with a certain number of free games and a multiplier. The feature could be retriggered during free spins. I almost always select box which had 10 free spins at x2 multiplier. This is not so good, I think there are many better presents than this one. I had winnings around x30 bet each time when I triggered free spins, but I triggered them quite often. So I don't think it is so hard to get them because this is also the only feature here.

Even if the game has only free spins feature is good enough. Because the payouts during base game is good, and I rather see better payouts and less bonus games. I think I could play this game more often because I like it. I had some nice winnings during my session and I do not have any words to say about it.

The graphics and design is really great and I think it is good video slot. I will rate it with 8 stars. The sounds and music are also good, all Christmas themed.

To me this Gingerbread Lane slot left no impression. Neither good, nor bad. Initially I did not understood anything in the game, maybe just that things happen somewhere around the holidays and it is all about gingerbread, otherwise I watched with great difficulty all the play of the game. After I played enough (say after about the first hundred spins) I started to notice that from time to time and I also won. I got a combination of “5 of a kind” for which I was paid 10 Euros and thus I gathered something extra, but until this combination of “5 of a kind” I have been asked myself about what I actually win. I have failed in any way to keep track of wins and losses. For a bet of 25 cents I rarely won about 30-50 cents, maybe more. And I was not impressed by these wins. I kept wondering why I am not losing more, until I had that maximum win of “5 of a kind” that gave me 10 Euros.

Then I had some wins of 5 of a kind that followed one after the other and thus I began to thank the slot, but by the end I was still under the same impression: actually the slot has not convinced me at all. The graphics of the slot are not great (but again not bad) and the same thing can be said also about the music of the game. With some difficulty you follow the Scatters or the Wilds, because all the symbols are like being drawn by some kids that play.

Perhaps I have not played enough, and after about 200 spins I stopped. I did not enter either in Free Spins or in the Bonus Game but I was left with something extra. Lately (at least with this Gingerbread Lane and Game of Thrones) Microgaming has not shown that perfection one was often used to. Perhaps these slots are not so weak but I discovered a few slots in other casinos that were better, here in the AskGamblers pages.

The wins here are very hard to follow. The slot is somewhat overloaded with graphics and the music of the game is not of the best. The boredom is installed quickly and the game does not impress with anything after the first 100 spins.
