A slot from Microgaming and based on the great Game of Thrones TV series. As a fan of the series, I was really glad when Microgaming was able to get the rights for this slot and for it to be made. Although they didn’t get the rights to the actor's faces and they won’t appear in this only thing you will get are the house crest symbols, All of the main ones are here House Targaryen, Lannister (Lannisters always pay their debts and maybe they will help you pay off some of yours if you have any with the wins you get from this slot), Stark and Baratheon. The good thing about this slot is that this version is the 243 way, while there is also another version that has the 15 line version. I prefer this 243-way version since this one has higher winning potential. If you get the 3 scatters or more which are represented by the throne then you will get the opportunity to select the free spins feature type, the fewer spins you choose the higher the multiplier and there are stacked symbols during the free spins. 18 spins at 2x, 14 at 3x, 10 at 4x, and 8 at 5x, it seems that the 14 at 3x represents the best since 14 x 3 = 42. While the others are 36, 40, 40. But that is one way of looking at it. I also like that the gamble has been given a different touch to it instead of the red or black cards type you get the heads or tails and you move around stages. It is different than the standard cards and red or black as most people would be used to on just about every slot that offers a gamble feature but I have seen other slots too getting a different way of representing the gamble feature but as long as it is actually fair then why not. My best base game on this slot has been a 50x Bet. And when it comes to the features I have not had anything major yet but the potential is certainly there if you get stacked wilds and symbols during the free spins or even during the base game can pay a very good amount. One thing I will also mention is the soundtrack is one the best ones ever.

Low RTP of just 94.86% and I assume this is due to the costly price that Microgaming had to pay to be allowed to make this slot using the theme of Game of Thrones and as often happens with other slots that are based on something made about a TV show or films. Everyone knows or watched famous Game of Thrones tv show, personally my favorite and having a MicroGaming releasing a slot about it is just a dream coming true. The slot has 5 reels and 243paylines with an RTP of 94.86% and 95.00% depending on a casino you are playing on. However, the minimal bet you can do a spin is 0.30$ or choose a high roller path and do 30$ a spin.

The symbols in the game are probably not gonna be what you expect. The Iron Throne is a scatter symbol that can pay up to 6,000x for 5 of them, Game of Thrones logo(Wild) that can pay up to 500x, followed by Baratheon, Lannister, Stark, and Targaryen Symbols that are high paying symbols. There is, of course, a classic card deck consisted of J, Q, K, and A being low paying symbols.

Free spins can be quite interesting, as when you get 3 or more scatter symbols(Iron Throne) on the reels you will get to choose your GoT family. Baratheon will give you 8 free games with 5x multipliers. Lannisters will award 10 free spins, but with 4x multipliers. Stark will get you 14 free games and a multiplier of 3x. The last one Targaryen, and it gives, 18 free spins, but the smallest multiplier, at 2x.I picked all of them multiple times, as I played a game for about 2-3hours, and I must say that the best one, in my opinion, is Lannister free spins. Microgaming did a well for choosing original music from Game of Thrones for the game’s main theme. It is easily recognizable for every fan and it will keep you playing longer for sure. However, the winnings can keep you playing too, as the game has huge potential both in the base game and free spins it's worth giving it a shot. The best win I got was 100x and that was in base game with a lot of wilds connecting with top paying symbol.

It's just disappointing that there are no photos of the actors among the symbols, not sure reason for this but it kinda destroyed the experience for me as I expected to see a couple of my favorite characters. One of the best watched serie with the same name, I did followed the serie but lost interest when I saw my favorite character was beheaded. I almost cried, yes almost but I didn't. I also love that dragon lady character with her white/blond hair. I find her very sexy.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the announcement of this game to be released and I searched more info regarding this game but every website told me the same thing.
The game itself was divided in two versions : 243 paylines and 15 paylines. Now, I would prefer the first version because it's easier to win with more paylines but you know that. I managed to win a few huge wins of over 300x bet thanks to the stacked wild symbols. Sure, it requires twice the bet as the 15 paylines but I think the chance of winning is also twice as big. I believe the second version has the best payout of the two. In my experience the less paylines a game has, the bigger the prize. This is actually a fact, more paylines means smaller prizes, less paylines bigger prizes, it's kinda a ying-yang thingy.

I believe all experienced players know Microgaming's Lord of the Rings video slot, The Dark Knight video slot series. There we see some animations, some characters of the movie. Unfortunately there's no characters of the series to be found in the game and that was a little disappointing but I do love the game soundtrack, at least they kept that in.

I don't dislike the game but it really needs some upgrade because I do lost some interest in the game and I haven't play this game for almost 6 months. I do really hope they will change the game or at least make a sequel of it with better visuals features.
It's a nice game if you don't mind playing with only the standard symbols.

No characters, no special random features, waiting for the sequel.

There wasnt much I liked about this game. It was basic and not very exciting at all!

The fact that it took me over $100 at 0.60 cents a bet until I got the scatter bonus and then I only won $1.24. Really frustrating game. The wins were small and only had 1 win of $13. The rest were between .20 cents and maybe $3.00 if I was lucky. I played this game based on the reviews on askgamblers and they were mixed but this game does 0 for me.

Will be staying away from this one. It is most probably one of the worst slots I have played!

Game of Thrones, I would gladly say, is an epic slot from Microgaming. Epic for me at least, especially the 243 paylines version. You can choose to try both versions but I believe the 243 ways to win is truly the one to like. We have all heard of 'Game of Thrones', the American fantasy drama television series, which premiere was possible to watch on the famous HBO Channel. This serial is still mega popular and it's been an inspiration for many. Microgaming has done a very well job when they came up with a second version, and no doubt it was and still is, popular among players as well.

I also remember that I was one of the very first active forum members who gave it a try and I liked this game at first sight. I also made some nice wins too, but I was limited with my small starting bankroll and couldn't afford to play it as much as I had wished, especially knowing the fact that NetEnt has released many cool games that I also had wanted to try, and it was simply impossible to play as much as you wish.
