FruitPunk Slot Overview
The FruitPunk slot transports players to a flash, futuristic venue draped in cyberpunk style. Neon borders frame the massive 7x7 grid, which has been designed to look like a vending machine. Even the traditional fruit symbols have been given a commercial makeover, with 7s emblazoned on cans of pop, BARs on sweet wrappers, and Cherries on a juice carton. There are also Lemons, Strawberries, Bananas, and Bells.
Land combos of five or more symbols for a win. There are no traditional slot machine paylines, though. Wins form whenever matching symbols connect horizontally or vertically, regardless of where they are on the grid.
FruitPunk RTP, Payout, and Volatility
There were only a few things that disappointed us during this FruitPunk slot review. One was the RTP, which is fixed at a low 94%. It’s lower than what we’d expect for Yggdrasil online slots, but unless you play FruitPunk for a long time, you’re unlikely to notice any difference.
The maximum payout is solid, as it comes in at 7,000x.
With these metrics in mind, it’s no surprise that the volatility is high.
FruitPunk Mobile
We expected a big grid to look cluttered on mobile, but that wasn’t the case. We tried the slot demo of FruitPunk on various devices, and it looked great even on the smallest Android screens. We preferred it on bigger screens, but if you don’t have that option, any mobile device (iOS and Android) will work well.
FruitPunk Graphics and Gaming Experience
FruitPunk goes all-out with its cyberpunk theme, and the developers have done a great job of tying it all together. It looks like the sort of minigame you stumble across in a cyberpunk RPG, with everything from the buzzing neon to the techno track and futuristic sound effects adding to the immersion.
FruitPunk Bonus Features
The base game FruitPunk features are just as impressive as the unlockable ones. The game uses an Avalanche mechanic, which means it removes winning symbols and replaces them with new symbols and multipliers.
This feature makes it possible to hit that max payout during the base game and the Free Spins. We fell short during our playthrough of the FruitPunk slot demo, but we had a few big chains and some sizeable multipliers.
FruitPunk Free Spins
As many as seven Scatters can appear on the grid at once, and you only need three of them to unlock the FruitPunk Free Spins. You’ll get 10 spins for three Scatters and up to 30 for more, and the feature can be retriggered. The Avalanche feature and its multipliers remain active throughout the Free Spins.
You may see a Buy Bonus option, which costs 34x the bet, but as noted in previous slot reviews, this is not available in UK online casinos.
