I feel as if I end up saying a whole lot of the same things whenever I come to review a Thunderkick game at the moment. Flux is another beautiful game with fantastic 3D graphics that really shine when I play the game on a device with decent graphical capabilities. The symbols are mostly gems, very reminscent of NetEnt's "Starburst" slot, although I'm pleased to say this game has several improvements over that one.

For example we have stacked wilds on all five reels rather than just the three expanding wilds on the centre most reels found in NetEnt's game (although the free respins awarded in that game don't feature here) and there is a free spins bonus round included with three different selectable modes as well which really helps to keep the game interesting.

Winning combinations light up progressively as each reel drops, giving a sense of that waiting-for-the-last-scatter excitement on every single spin. Like most Thunderkick games too you can choose from a very wide range of bet sizes all the way from 0.10 up to 100.00.

The three bonus modes include paying both ways, adding a second set of three rows to the bottom of the reels (although it's not stated specifically it seems that an extra 15 paylines are added for the bottom set however no winning combinations are possible across the two different sets, which often made me feel I should have been awarded a win when I was not.

I always feel as if the wins the game returns are very low, and in fact checking the paytable there are only two symbols which return over 5x your stake for a five of a kind! The wild symbol has no paytable listing of its all so counts as the top symbol returning 24x your stake for a full line but it's even rarer than you might expect to ever get a five of a kind of either the wilds or that symbol.

Overall playing Flux is a very dull experience for me, and I am feeling more and more at the moment that Thunderkick definitely need to do more than prove they have extremely talented graphics artists if their slots are going to compete with Microgaming and Play N Go in the long term.

Flux slot created by Thunderkick is set in a 3D type of room background with transparent objects. This game is fun and bright with different colours shining/sparking even brighter when appearing in a winning combo.

The move and spinning of the reels seems so smooth with all the different colours which makes it one of a kind. I must say the visuals of this slot is amazing. This game's wild symbols is pretty active and stacked most times as well as it boast a bonus feature which grants you free spins.

3 or more scattered B symbols triggers the bonus game. You have the option to choose from spins, rows and way pays. You can choose 16 free spins with the normal 5 reel and 3 rows, 12 spins with 5 reels and 5 rows, giving more room to win big with more symbols on the reel or you can choose 8 spins with 5 reels, 5 rows and win both ways. Now this is the option I always choose because those stacked wilds tend to land a lot on the last 3 reels, which gives me a win from the other side and a big one too. I am not sure how advance the game gets when you land 4 or 5 bonus symbols, because 3 is enough for me and I always hit it big.

I made a good profit on this game once, I manage to win over x100 my total stake and I was satisfied with the results. I once made a few losses when I started to learn to play this slot and didn’t like it at first but has become one of my favorites and I always play stakes of $0.50 per spin. I think you will love this slot and you should give this slot a try. There are times however when you will take more than 100 spins to triggered the free spins, but I think this slot is of low variance.

When Thunderkick game designers came out with the game Arcader some time back, they used 8-bit graphics integrated into a 3D rendition presentation. Although the overall finished product looked pleasing enough, I personally wasn't impressed with it. The colours were vibrant enough to attract attention, but the 8-bit graphics made everything looked 'old', as if it came from yesteryears. Now, with Flux, they have reverted back to 16-bit graphics, a little bit to my delight, but the overall presentation lacks the vibrancy of Arcader! Aargh! Somewhere along the path, the designers took a misguided turn! Ah well, what to do, they are still 'new', but for how much longer can they afford to remain 'new'! So, it's high time to wake up guys!!!

Flux can be played in 3 modes, they called it 3 feature games, but they aren't really feature games, they are just modes! You can choose your preferred mode to play - win both ways, left-to-right and right-to-left, or with 3 extra rows, but paying only left-to-right, or the 3rd mode of win both ways with 3 extra rows. There is a difference in the 3 modes of play. A free spins game award 16 free spins in the first mode, 12 free spins in the second mode, and only 8 free spins in the third mode. Why these differences? Beats me! But the way I can see it, the third mode, for example, plays with 3 extra rows (6 rows in total) and pays both ways, so the chances of hitting wins are much higher, double in fact. In the first mode, on the other hand, the game plays with just the standard 3 rows, paying both ways. Does that make any sense to you? To me, yes and no! What you can win twice as much, also means you can lose twice as much! So what's the big deal anyway? Might as well stick to either the standard 3-rows or stick to the 6-rows. But then again, how many games do you know plays with 6-rows? Only 1 or 2 right, if I'm not mistaken. Personally, I hate 5 and 6 rows games!

So you know which mode I usually play Flux with. Yeah, the first mode! The standard 5-reels 3-rows pay both ways mode. I did try the other two modes, but like I said, if you don't win fast, you'll lose fast! Nope, not for me, thanks. Nonetheless, this standard 3-rows mode isn't all that blardy good either! The paytable is very low, the Wilds don't pay nor double any wins, the Scatters don't pay either, so it's always back to the same blardy old question...how the heck can you win big on this blardy game?! Can you see any possibilities at all, or any potentials at all? I can't, or I must be blind! Hehehe.

What I dislike most is the way Thunderkick game designers keep missing out on the important criteria of a 'hit' game! Maybe they are being too cautious, because of being 'new', but without taking risks, how to be successful? These designers must start taking higher calculated risks and really try to come out with new highly-sought games like those from their more successful competitors!

Flux is video slot with 5 reels and 15 pay lines. It is powered by Thunderkick software provider. I played this game a while ago. That time I played a few other games from Thunderkick and iIlike them. Thunderkick software provider created really good video slots even with Flux. The graphics are awesome and there are really nice 3D symbols on the reels.

The game offer free spins feature. Well it is called as a bonus game here in this game. When you get at least three bonus symbols the bonus start. You can choose between three different features: win both ways with 3 extra rows, win both ways or 3 extra rows. On every feature is set different number of free spins which you can get. The win both ways with 3 extra rows is one of the best feature and with all five scatters you can get 24 free spins.

While I was playing it I selected win both ways with 3 extra rows and I received 8 free spins because I triggered bonus with three bonus symbols. At the end I won around x 70 bet which was really good. I think this game could provide some good winnings and even some bigger winnings if you triggered bonus game with more than 3 symbols.

I think this is a decent game. I like to play it sometimes and I think I will play it in the future too. There are really good graphics and sounds effects and this the reason why I like Thunderkick software provider.

I will rate this game with 8 stars. I still prefer to play some other games more from this provider. I do not know why, maybe because I had even better winnings there. But this is a good game and it deserves a good ratio from me.

Flux is another incredible game from new casino software provider Thunderkick. First time I decided to play this game, was when I saw that Mr Green had a particular promotion dedicated to Flux. They would award 5 to 250 euros to random players who would play that game on a Thursday like a month ago.

Having never played that game before, I decided to go for it and of course hoped that I would be chosen for that random prize. I played the game for approximately 30 minutes, but at the end of the day my mailbox was still empty and my balance not credited.

Anyway, lets now discuss the great Flux game. This slot is another innovative concept with several gems or stars as symbols. It can be compared with NetEnt’s popular game Starburst a bit, but in my opinion it’s even better.

Flux contains 5-reels, 3-rows and 15-paylines altogether. On each reel there are stacked wilds. The minimum bet size is 20 cents, but I played it on 40 cent bets at Mr Green. On every reel there are stacked wilds. So potentially you could get a full screen of wilds which would ensure the top payout.
A 5oak wilds is good for 24x bet. So multiply that with 15 and you have the base game jackpot.

I wasn’t too successful though during base game, since it’s a bit difficult to get the best paying symbols to line up well in combination with the wilds. My best hit didn’t exceed 20x bet.

It’s all about the astonishing free spins bonus in this game. You need at least 3, 4 or 5 bonus symbols to trigger the free spins. Depending on the number of bonus symbols you can choose how many free spins you want, whether you want 3 extra rows or apply a win-both-ways structure, or even a combination of both.

The variety this bonus game offers is something that I highly value. I picked the feature with 12 free spins and 3 extra rows most of the time. This game is a no no to me! I have spent hours and more than 50 euro playing this game.

I believe that this game is a Starburst knock off, except Flux has 15 paylines and an expanding reels in the bonus round just like Microgaming's Terminator 2. It took me about 100 spins to get the bonus round and I expected a big win after spending that much of money but it was unfortunately a big disappointment because I won no more than 2,5 euro ( I chose the third bonus type).I don't give up easily so I kept playing and playing till I hit the ultra big win, did I won it? Well I didn't actually. The biggest win from the free spins was 7 euro.

If you ask me, although Starburst max win is 5000 credits I think that Starburst is way better than Flux because it has a better win chance than Flux. I expected more of Thunderkick, I know they have great games with a potential big win but Flux is not one of them.

I see valentin68 has uploaded a few big win screenshots but if you see closely his stake was 1 euro per spin so a winning of 10 times bet is not really a big win. I wonder, is Flux only available at Casumo? I can't find the game at Thrills and other online casinos that provide Thunderkick games.

At this moment I really dislike this game but I hope in the future this will change because I love Thunderkick. Maybe I will give this game another chance, if anybody has posted a descent big win screenshot.

I don't recommend Flux to others (at this moment) but if you curious about it I recommend to play it with the lowest stake.

By the way I almost to mention, I played this game with 10 cent per bet and lost 50 euro (that's over 700 spins including the winnings) so you can imagine why I give this game a low rating stars.

Could it be something more beautiful and more successful than the famous Starburst?! Indeed it could be yes, and the Thunderkick casinos through this slot Flux just made the proof. Some Thunderkick slots are really splendid and the Flux slot is one of the best here. Playing this game, like in Starburst you find those stars and symbols full of mystery which exploding lights everything and also bring with them sometimes enormous wins. Yes, definitely this slot is much better than Starburst and I played with pleasure over 500 spins, to become bored by how many Big Wins and Mega Wins I have had (over 20). All wins here are bigger than in Starburst and the geometrical figures that replace the stars from Starburst are more attractive and even brighter. The music that accompanies all this is full of mystery and makes you feel a small part of the huge Universe that surrounds us. Even in this aspect this slot exceeds the now classic Starburst!

But these facts are not everything. There are only 8 symbols that always come accompanied by entire columns of Wilds (stacked wilds and even super stacked wilds) and the payouts are fabulous. If you play for the bet of 1 Euro/spin (15 paylines) rarely you get to lose more than 15 to 18 Euros and when you find yourself into win, you can have even 40 Euro extra. My hunch is that if you play just for 10 cents/spin, you will never lose more than 4-5 Euros even when you are unlucky. The number of losing spins is here much smaller as when playing Starburst. And about the Free Spins what to say: a delight. You are you happy and you feel like clapping your hands like a small child when entering the Free Spins. You get a minimum of 8 Free Spins with 3 extra lines (which means the game is played on a grid 5x6) with payouts in both directions and Wild columns that never end.

The slot is indeed extraordinary. I did not believe that I will ever play a slot like Starburst better than this one.
