Fire Portals Slot

This review is meant as a warning, based on my own extensive experience with this slot. I've used around 3,500 DKK (approx. 475 EUR) trying to unlock the potential, but without much luck, apart from one 410x win. Well, here goes:

As many fellow slot players before me have pointed out, Fire Portals can be a very harsh mistress; it really likes to build up hope just to deadspin you out. The game concept is somewhat related to eg. Jammin' Jars from Push Gaming, but there are important differences.

The portals act as multilplier wilds here, and just like in Jammin' Jars you up the multiplier with each hit. A winning combination is formed each time you connect 5 or more adjacent symbols, with or without a wild portal.

A hit without an existing portal creates a new portal, while a hit with one or more existing portals ups the multiplier, which is where the potential for big wins lies. But typically Fire Portals will stall with the good connections until the last spin - or just deadspin with big multiplier portals in plain sight.

Nice concept, but too volatile for comfort, I guess.

The game is simply too scripted, which imho is a common problem with these cluster/grid slots. Here it is just too obvious, as the slot loves to deadspin, when you build up some promising multiplying wild portals.
