Dougies Delights looks like a typical American slot game. You can see that from the symbols in the game. The Statue of Liberty, Football helmet, hamburger, hot dog, popcorn, I’m not sure about the drink but I think it’s some soda that Americans use every day. The Wild symbol is an American flag, the Scatter is a White Eagle and the bonus symbol is the Statue of Liberty.
The background of the game are all American flag colors and stars. I didn't like the background sound because it was from some overcrowded place and it was nothing special.

This game comes from Top Game software and it is a 9 payline 5 reel slot. I like 9 payline slots because I can play longer with a small bet and can still have some decent wins on these slots. All symbols here pay left to right and winnings combined with the Liberty symbol on reels 2, 3 or 4 can give you up to 20 bonus points. I had a win like that here but because of my low bet I only won 2 dollars. That would be much more if I was betting higher which I eventually did later in the game. The american flag symbol, which is wild, is called Old Glory symbol here and substitutes all other symbols except the scatter and bonus symbols. You need to collect between 2 or 4 white eagle symbols to win the free spins bonus which I didn’t. The white eagle didn’t want to come and show his face to me. Scatter wins are multiplied by total bet.

This definitely isn't my type of slot game. It didn't produce some excitement and I didn't see any big winning combinations here. I think that it has a lot of potential for some really big wins if you play this slot on a higher bet. For me it is just another Top Game slot that I tried along the way.

I think it can be safely said that Douguie’s Delights is a real American slot regarding to its theme. No matter what you consider for its primary theme because all Food or Sports related symbols are represents American particularities like hamburger, hot dog, popcorn or baseball, football, basketball equipment and I haven’t even mentioned the more specific US emblems like national flag, Liberty statue or bald eagle which are the top symbols at this game. The implementation of interface is decent with no outstanding graphical solutions or terrible visual adaptation and I think this is the typical appearance what players can’t love or hate, at least, for me it’s a totally neutral interface.

Being of a 9-payline slot, it has a great 10.000 coins top prize to give out and in my opinion that’s the most seductive quality and though the slot offers Wild, free spins, Bonus features unfortunately they’re not excels. The American flag is the Wild and only substitutes for other figures without any plus win multiplier value while the Lady Liberty is the Bonus which appears only on the three middle reels. To be honest, I still can’t realize how it works because the award if all the inner reels contain one of them may be up to 20 bonus points but this bonus point system isn’t described anywhere instead, in this situation an instant cash prize is won. My usual bet is only €0.90 per spin and such bonus wins pays around €10-€15 randomly and I can’t recognize any rule or regulation of how this amount is calculated. The free spins are activated if an Eagle figure is appear on the first and the last reel at the same time then 5 extra spins are awarded which are played under normal game conditions.

Personally, I think this is a very average little slot in every aspect and have found nothing here that could give me much excitement or anything that I could rave about but on the other hand it’s not a bad game or something like I would consider that wouldn’t deserve to play with but for me the missing entertaining factor is an important one and that’s why the frequency of my visiting times are limited.
