Dark Mystic

Games by Felix Gaming have never been on my try-out list, for one reason or another, but yesterday, I had nowhere else to go, so to speak, so I decided to try out a few Felix games. This Dark Mystic happened to be the very first game that I chose to try out, and at the end of the day, I must admit that I was quite satisfied with it, hehehe.

Felix Gaming isn't that well-known or that established as yet, so I wasn't really surprised when I realised how basic their game designs and game concepts are! This Dark Mystic game, for example, is a very simple and straightforward game, but has nice contemporary graphics to it, so the game doesn't look like it came from decades ago. There is only one feature provided - a randomly activated Dragon Wild Reel - and if it doesn't create any win, one free Respin is then given. Even so, a win isn't guaranteed! Hehehe.

Paytable wise, the Dragon Wild symbol is non-paying, it doesn't double wins with it either, and it only expands when that random Wild Reel feature is activated. There aren't any other free spins to be won, except for that one free Respin, but all the symbols do have decent win values, from 500x total bet for the Treasure Chest, 125x for each of the 2 Ladies, and down to 8x for the lowest symbol. For a maximum possible win of 500x, the paytable can be considered as being average, but at least it isn't blardy low as in most other new games!

Playing the game is simple, as expected, but can be quite tiresome and boring after some time, simply due to lack of other interesting features. The random Dragon Wild Reel doesn't come so often, and it doesn't guarantee a win either, so at times, you may get quite a number of empty non-paying spins. My last count was 36 empty spins. Nonetheless, I quite like playing this Dark Mystic game, I like the graphics too, although the animations within the game itself is minimal, and the background music is pleasant enough, but may come as being too repetitive not long after!

Anyway, Dark Mystic is probably the one and only game from Felix Gaming that I would want to carry on playing - all the other games, except for Red Lion, which is currently not in Askgamblers games list, simply aren't good enough for prolonged or repeated plays! Felix Gaming, do something about this to improve your future games!

Good slots with dragon themes, just average slots.
