Cops and Robbers is a highly popular 9-payline video slot running on the Play'n GO software platform. This fun game featuring the theme of exciting car chases and thefts possesses a wild card in the form of a safe, which doubles all wins, and the scatter, depicted by a police car. Players can try the slot on this page for free or select any of the featured Play'n GO casinos to play the game for real money.
To spin the reels with the lively city sounds in the background, players first need to adjust their bet. To regulate the coin size, ranging from 0.01 to 1, players should click the blue “Coin Value” button. The “Coins” button adjusts the number of coins wagered, while “Lines” regulates the number of active paylines. “Spin” starts the game, while "Bet Max" wagers the maximum sum. To play multiple times without interruption, players need to click “Auto Play”.
Clicking the “Gamble” button enables players to increase their winnings. If they guess the colour of the face down card correctly, the sum is doubled, while guessing the suit quadruples the amount. However, wrong guesses result in the loss of the sum. Players can end the gamble feature and save their winnings by clicking “Collect”.
If 3 or more scatters appear, the Car Chase Bonus is triggered. If players manage to escape, the free spin wins are doubled. Scatter wins are multiplied by the total bet staked and added to the payline wins.

Maybe youâre asking âwhy in the world are you writing a review on an old game?â, right? Well, let me be very honest here and say that this isnât the first time that I have played this Cops ânâ Robbers game by Playân Go. In fact, I have played it several times before, more like several years ago, but the game never caught my interest, so I didnât continue playing on it since then. My last sessions on it went pretty badly and miserably, not getting any nice win of 100x or more, unlike with many other Playân Go games that I play. However, it is now time that I put my experience on the game in writing, for better or for worse. I know that many like this game, but I certainly am not one of them.
Generally speaking, the paytable is not that bad, but is not that good either. Why? The win values of all the symbols in the game are not up to my expectations (my expectations are always on the high side), and when the game was launched years ago, those values were slightly lower than the good ones, so that became a deterrent for me to continue on playing the game. In deep contrast, win values of current games are literally at seabed bottom, the lowest ever to be seen, but are being boosted up by such things as Megaways, providing thousands of extra winning lines, promising huge winning potentials, but only to those very lucky few who can get them. To me, it is all a very big elaborate hype, so I still stick to good old oldie games, like this Cops ânâ Robbers game, although it still isnât one of my favourites, hahaha.
What I like best in Cops ânâ Robbers is the ability to choose how many lines I want to play, which is completely non-existent now with all current games. I hate games that dictate how much I need to bet per spin, but some new games are indeed so good that I still play them, despite the fixed number of lines or bet size per spin. However, whenever my budget is low, which now seems to be like always, I would go back to oldie games that provide selectable lines. I always get a good extended play time with whatever little money that I have, and this is what matter most to me nowadays. Never that 10,000x win promise, or that one hundred thousand ways to win.
Nevertheless, suffice to say that even this old game can still give some exciting moments during play, and I would surely come back for more play once in a while, especially when I get bored with my other games, hehehe.
