I had high hopes for you, being the slot enthusiast for enjoying the Egyptian themed slot that you are, but you've left me feeling about as satisfied as a cat trying to catch a laser pointer. Those sticky wilds at the end of the bonus are nice however if none of them appear during the bonus it's horrible!

As the name already tells, the main inspiration for this slot comes from Ancient Egypt. But in this case, it's with a twist- instead of Cleopatra, there's a Cleocatra- different cat symbols that are the main characters for this game. As for mechanics, the game has 5 reels and 20 pay lines, making the minimum bet 20 cents.

The base game itself is quite simple, yet there's one interesting feature- Respin Feature. Whenever a full stack of matching cats land on reel 1, you get a Respin and all matching cats are locked into their places. I've only experiences this feature a few times- once it paid 40x. While I haven't had any major base game hits, I think this simple Respin Feature makes the base game more attractive.

Aside from that, there's also a free spins bonus round where you get 8 free spins. However, landing more scatter will give you extra spins, which is nice. The free spins in many ways reminded me of the Dog House slot. In the free spins, you can land wilds on reels 2 to 5 with different multipliers. And once the wilds land, they will remain sticky until the end of the bonus round. In the free spins you can't get a Respin, however, landing a full stack of matching cats on reel 1 will give you 2 extra spins, which I've found to be very useful. The bonus round itself is very volatile- if you don't land any wilds or they aren't on a line, it's hard to get a big win. However, I did manage one time to land multiple wilds and ended up with a 900x bet win. So while the feature is very volatile, from experience I can say that the winning potential is definitely there.

All in all I really enjoy this game. Also it offers a bonus buy option for 100x which I've used a few times. The design is nice, features are easy to understand and the bonus round is very exciting. Certainly one of my latest favourites.
