Cash Bomb is another perfect example for why I think NetEnt shouldn’t force to create classic slots. They’re very great at making very high graphic quality multi-line slots but in my opinion they’re terrible when we’re speaking about this strength at traditional machines. I can’t understand what makes the difference or why it is so hard to use the same successful method here but definitely can be seen a remarkable quality decrease at mini-games.

Cash Bomb is no exception and has a very poor look. It seems like if it was cut from a bigger picture and focus only on the reels and buttons but somehow the whole image is terribly blurred. I understand it’s a mini-game and the visual effects are limited for a reason but what I got here is still unacceptable for me and can’t help but I find it awful.

The slot is a Progressive Jackpot machine and I think this is the best news about is. 3 Bomb figures on the payline would do that trick if the bet is 3 coins (and it means €1.50 always as the fix stake at this product is €0.50) but using just 2 units as bet it still pays 4800 credits as top prize. I think it shows the game’s simplicity the best that no other rules, features was built in so no substitute function, Wild, a symbol that at least would return the stake if it appears in its own on the line, no nothing. Sure, this latter mentioned attribute wouldn’t be an automatically shortcoming for me if other parts would excels but unfortunately this isn’t the case here.

Playing the game the payouts are just average and thanks to the ‘screen wins’ (I mean hear some symbols don’t necessary require to be 3 of them on the only one payline but it’s enough for them to be seen on the screen) the sequence of occurred winnings are acceptable and sometimes (rare occasions) the winnings with the best figures can give back nice returns but this slot doesn’t love to show its positive side.

I try to be a nice guy here and say it’s not among the best classic slot I’ve ever played but if I want to be rude I must say it’s a bad, bad game. To be honest if it hasn’t Jackpot amount to offer I would be really in big trouble to name what segment of the game is worth to return it again and it wouldn’t be surprise if I come empty for that explanation.

I'm not too much into progressive slots since my experiences with them have been horrifying so far. I haven't won a jackpot even once. Only a few Mini and Minor jackpots on The Dark Knight. However, let's not turn this review into a sad whining story lol.

NetEnt's Cash Bomb is another progressive slot from their jackpot rich portfolio. It's also a mini-game like the other slots I've reviewed, such as Vault Assault, Mini Spell and Zodiac. If you enjoyed playing Vault Assault, then you would probably like slot even more.

Just like Vault Assault, Cash Bomb is a classic slot with only one payline. The minimum bet however is 50 cents instead of 1 euro. The symbols are being up from the well-known classic slot symbols like bells, cherries, bars, fives, sevens and the Cash Bomb symbol.

That's what you want to be aiming for in the end. Keep in mind though that you have to bet max, which is 3 coins, to be eligible for winning the jackpot. So it equals to 1.50 euro bets or dollars, whatever your currency is.

To win the jackpot you need to have the 3 Cash Bomb symbols on one payline, while betting 3 coins. I always see the jackpot being around 13K, so that's a very good reason to play this game. I am however curious how often this jackpot gets won, and how difficult it is to win one.

I certainly spent a lot of money on several progressive games without a hit unfortunately. Same goes for my experiences with Cash Bomb. I was down 150 euros in no time, while betting the max. Lots of dead spins and only low wins, with one exception of three 5-bar symbols paying 20x bet size.

I stopped and never started this game again. I think patience is a very important factor when playing these classic type of slots.

My final rating for Cash Bomb is 6.5/10.
