The appearance of Bonkers is a true classic slot in every inch where we can see a land-based, one-armed bandit machine illustration with all of its good and bad qualities. Fortunately, everything’s here can be visible and readable which sometimes serious issue at other games and though we can’t see any graphically unique solutions but this cleverly designed game’s interface is still very decent. There’s really not much to say about the pictorial world of this product because of its kind we can’t expect any real shocking graphical work and because of this is a very typical, average looking RTG project which never were famous about their unparalleled displaying qualities.

Just to quickly go through the cold hard facts, the slot is a 3-reel, 1-payline product where we can place bets from $0.05-$5 using 1, 2 or 3 coins while the potential highest reward may not exceed 1200 coins if maximum number of coins are placed as bets. The only extra the game offers is the free spin feature which is rather a re-spin features which is activated if at least 2 special symbols arrive to the payline when we get 3 extra spin but if the center line is full of these icons we’re awarded 10 free spins. It sounds great but in reality this feature is almost never triggered so I can say this seems just a speculative add-on. I always like if a slot has a symbol that pays if just one of them appear on the screen and I got here at Bonkers when the free spin triggering symbol’s secondary function to return stake if one single pictogram shows itself on any position on the payline.

The slot uses only Bars and 7’s from the traditional icon collection and a special Bonkers symbol so thanks to the very few symbols the number of winning combinations are very limited which can be good or bad thing at the same time. I always prefer to play with less number of icons because I think it makes easier to recognize immediately the winning combinations and after playing a game and know its combinations it really helps to determine the won amount much quicker and I also think the chance for winning combinations are higher at these kind of games. On the other hand I still don’t like at this game (just like at other RTG games) that if I want to play with two coins I have to press buttons 3 times before every spin which is getting more and more annoying as the time goes by. I understand the developers initial idea to prompt players to choose the ‘Play 3 Credits’ button which is noticeable fasten the game session and makes the game more comfortable to play with but I hate this kind of ‘hidden’ limitation and when I’m forced to do something if I want really enjoy the gameplay and ruin my playing habits.

To speak about Bonkers directly, this game has one of the worst game settings for a classic machine I have played recently. The winning combinations are very rare times realized and I’m not just saying about the bigger ones but even smaller paying combinations have the great talent to avoid the paying line. No kidding, last time when I tried it again I counted for just curiosity and I had 79 spins where I didn’t get any win except the single Bonkers which just returned my bet.

I think this last mentioned case is enough to not consider this game as a good one and I dare to say this slot doesn’t reach even the average overall quality level. The session easily can turn into monotony and the game quickly may become boring so I can’t see too many reasons why a customer should play this game again and again. I think neither the appearance of the game nor the Jackpot amount is not among the best and definitely not that ones that would really make the game attractive or a ‘can’t miss’ product so I can advise to every gambler to avoid this slot because playing this slot just like throwing the money out of the window and we also can’t expect entertaining experiences here.
