Browsing the portfolio of games in one of my favorite casinos, today I came across a cartoon-themed video slot developed by the company “Pariplay,” and although my experiences with slots of this provider have not left me very good memories, today I decided to give it a new opportunity since I was attracted by those double-sized symbols that somehow reminded me of “Iron Man 2” slot made by Playtech, which was a slot that had its place in my list of favorites for some time.
The name of this slot is “Bloodshot” and its theme is based on a comic published online in “Comic Vine” website and on it, we will find futuristic weapons, heroes, and villains identifying each of its symbols.
The layout of this slot is 5 x 4 reels, and it is provided with 40 pay lines. The set of regular symbols is composed of 9 elements, of which the 4 highest paid symbols of the game have a size of two boxes in a vertical direction; the other symbols are normal size.
This game is equipped with a couple of special features; the first of them is a robot called “Nanites” that randomly walks on the reels during the main game to spread a random number of wilds.
The second feature is a bonus round in which you can win an instant prize, a round of free spins with sticky wilds, and also get 3 games in the Wild Nanites feature, where this robot can convert up to 5 columns into wild reels.
In theory, the above is a fascinating feature; however, today I discovered that this is a feature hard to be accessed, and additionally, it seems that it is even more difficult to win a decent prize in that kind of wheel fortune.
Personally, today in my first session, only two times I was I able to spin this wheel of fortune, and two times I had instant prizes, 4x and 8x, the lowest ones offered by this feature, by the way.
As if this were not enough, prices of the paytable are also quite weak, and the only decent prices are reserved for the 5 of a kind lines of the 4 best symbols; not even the prices of 4 of a kind lines of these same symbols are reasonably acceptable.
In addition to all the above, in “Bloodshot” slot we usually have to deal with long runs of dead spins; which is just one more disadvantage of playing this slot.
I think that in my interior I already expected this poor performance; it would not be the first time I’m disappointed with a slot developed by this company.
