Big Bass Floats My Boat Slot

Big bass floats my boat is a 5-reel 3 row slot from reel kingdom a subsidiary of Pragmatic play. This game has 10 active play lines and you can play it from a starting bet of 10 cents. The slot frame is placed under the sea and on the top right corner you can see the fisherman a boat. The game has 4 major symbols and they pay from 200x to 50x your bet on connections of 5. Card symbols A, K, Q, J and 10 pay from 10x to 5x your bet on connections of 5 of a kind. Fish are the money symbols and on any spin you will see them with values ranging from 0.2x to 50x. On any random spin you may experience the feature of your screen freezing for a moment and this means that the fisherman on the right corner will collect all fish symbol coins and multiply the sum of coins visible with a multiplier ranging from 2x to 50x.
You can trigger the free spin feature by landing 3, 4 or 5 scatters and these will give you 10, 15 or 20 free spins. On every spins you will have a chance to land the fisherman symbol and collecting 4 fisherman successfully will upgrade you to next level. In the first level every time you land the fish symbol it will increase the cell value by one. This means that when the fisherman symbol lands, the cell value will be multiplied to the coin value. After successfully collecting 4 fisherman you will win 10 more free spins and this time every cell value will increase by two every time a fish will appear on the same spot. The third level will see you increase the cell value by three on every appearance of the fish. After this level collecting 4 fishermen will only give you 10 free spins.
This is one of my favorite big bass games as it has a very nice base game. You get constant hits and the boat feature which lands every 40 to 50 spins can give you huge hits. The bonus lands every 200 to 300 spins and if you want it quicker you can play the game with extra bet feature which will cost you 50% extra per bet. A bonus round can be bought by for 100x your bet size.

Pragmatic play did an excellent job in making the base game exciting but can’t say the same thing about the bonus game. The bonuses usually pay from 15x to 20x and follow the same script of dead spins after you reach level 2.

A slot from Pragmatic Play and has another Bass slot in the series and thus fishing is the name of the game here with another 10 liner with 5 reels, 3 rows and just a friendly 0.10 min bet per spin. Max win cap of 5000x is good as well.

If you have ever played a big bass game then you will know that triggering these slots is just 3 or more fish scatters and this is the same case here, but the more scatters you trigger with then the more free spins you start with which is good slot design in my opinion. I like the bass games that give you the re-spin option where if you land 2 scatters there is a chance you can get the 3rd scatter either via some random event or by getting a re-spin chance. Some bass games don’t have the re-spin when the scatters are high enough. During the feature you just collect as many fisherman to proceed to the next level. There is no picking of extra symbols before the start of the feature to upgrade your feature. The multipliers also increase with each fish landing on them. By the way I like that with each new level you get an extra 10 spins and the wins pay more.

Having played bass game a lot I went into this knowing that it could take ages or be quick that is how these slots usually play and it took just 4 spins to land the feature and what do you know it paid a decent 84x, thanks Pragmatic.

Lots of banjo music in this game along with piano and country music basically is what you get here, easy going with sound effects for wins and spinning reels, the famous sound of a fisherman wild landing during the feature is still there and remains the same.

The bonus buy is two types 100x for basic and 300x for the super. I am not much of a bonus buy type player so I don’t bother with these however it is good to know that the option is there just in case I don’t feel like base game grinding.

It has to be said that the bass game win frequency is low around the 12% and that means almost 9 spins out of ten will be dead spins and thus getting 10 or more dead spins is very possible and can be tough to handle during some sessions.
