Bell of Fortune is a very well designed classics slot from Play’n’Go and I have to say it has one of the best displaying arrangement among traditional slots in this platform. Everything is well visible, the reel area is sufficiently large, the paytable panel is readable and doesn’t take away the attention from the reels, there are no annoying flashing lights or any other bother visual elements and the little background music is fitting and even though the graphics of the fruit and bell symbols are not superb but they’re not as bad to be considered as a real shortcoming. I just like the interface of the game in its simplicity and in its functionality.

The slot also works as a simple 3-reel, 1-payline product which has a fix €0.25 coin denomination but we can vary our bets between €0.25 and €0.75. It doesn’t make sense to not using 3 coins as stake, first because it’s not that high amount as at other slots secondly but more importantly we only get a chance to win the Progressive Jackpot if use maximum number of coins. 3 Gold Bell symbol would do that little magic and although it hasn’t win multiplying ability but at least this icon also works for the game as a Wild too and this is also the one and only symbol of the game that pays (x2) if just a single symbol appear on any of the three reels.

The downside of the game is it’s not too well-paying. Playing for the Jackpot with 3 coins the wins are not the frequently seen guests on the reels and the better paying ones almost impossible to show themselves. Strange, but true playing with one or two coins the win combinations are noticeable more times occurred and I also got not once, not twice occasions wins with Oranges and Strawberries which are the best rewarding pictograms after the Jackpot triggering Bell emblem. I think this is not coincidental and the not too player-friendly game settings from the developer’s part responsible for it.

This latter observation really leaves a little bitter taste in player’s mouth and for some players it may seem as just a conspiracy theory but for me this is the reason why I play this slot more times less. Other than that it would be a really complex and fine traditional product and I think it could fight for the No1. title among classic products at Play’n’Go palette in my book but since I’ve noticed that paying habits, our relationship took an unexpected turn and sometimes I prefer to choose another slot because of that. I’m really sorry for that because it would be a lovable slot.
