“Habanero Systems — The Hawk Game Suite” is a gambling software developer with a fairly robust video slots' portfolio, but I've been exploring their games and I think I've made some good findings so far and that's why I continue to do this task.

The turn now has been for “Barnstormer Bucks” slot, which is a game released during 2012 that until now had gone unnoticed for me; but since farm-themed slots are quite to my taste, today I decided to give it a whirl.

This slot has a 5 x 3 reel layout and has been provided with 25 pay lines; a pretty traditional setting for that time.

As for the paytable, this is quite acceptable in my opinion, but what I like most about this game is its main feature, which can be a round of up to 10 re-spins or a round of 10 free games, both unleashed by the same mechanism, but chosen randomly by the machine.

The free games is a round with a good potential since in it, all our wins are multiplied by 3x; however, my favorite round is the re-spins one, since although winnings are paid to 1x, in this, reel 1 is wild and remains sticky until the end, which I consider a rather strong feature, mainly in those turns where more ordinary wilds appear on other reels, and even better if we can form lines of at least 4 of a kind with the symbols of the old woman or the barn, which are lines with prizes of 1,000 and 500 credits respectively; 5 of a kind pay 10,000 and 2,500 but these are tremendously harder to get, perhaps not impossible, but I never could get one of these.

In a single re-spin I managed to win up to 16x my total bet, and in my best entire round, I won almost 60x my total bet, which is not bad bearing in mind the acceptable behavior of this slot during the base game.

A first successful session has left me wanting more, so very surely over the course of this week I will be making a few more spins in “Barnstormer Bucks” slot to verify the quality shown by this game today; in case it manages to ratify its good performance, then I will not see problem in including it in my list of Habanero favorite slots.
