Aztec Gold Megaways is a relatively new slot release brought to you by iSoftBet. This slot has all the features of the original plus some extra additions. This cascading video slot features 6-reels, 2-7 rows, and up to 117,649 ways to win.
As with all Megaways slots the cascading feature is a core part of gameplay, whenever you land a win, all of the winning symbols are removed and replaced by new ones that fall in from above. This continues until there are no more new winning combinations are formed.

Two modifiers are available on any spin while playing the base game, these are the Max Megaways, and the Sun Disc Boost. Both of these modifiers get activated at random, with the Max Megaways modifier locking the grid with the maximum number of paylines that boost your winning potential massively. The Sun Disc Boost modifier adds a random number of extra scatters symbols to the reels at the beginning of the spin.

We also have Mystery Symbols which are available during the base game. These can land after a spin or a cascade, to reveal a random symbol except for Wilds and Scatter.

Next up we have the Gold Cash Respins feature. You need 5 sun disc scatters to land anywhere on the reels for this feature to kick in.

You then start with 3 Aztec Gold Cash respins, and landing another scatter will reset the respins count to 3 again. Each of these stakes has a multiplier value, and if you manage to fill an entire reel. You will then activate the multiplier for all the scatters on that reel. Look out for the Mini, Major as well as the Mega Sun Disc scatters as they will give you even bigger payouts. Their values are worth 30, 100, and 1000x your stake respectively. This feature comes to an end when the entire grid is filled or you run out of respins.

All in all this is a great slot to play, and has potential for some good wins. The Aztec Respins bonus game is thrilling to play, as well as the base game which has some exciting extras. This game doesn't get boring and stays unpredictable. Megaways + multiple bonuses and a kickass jackpot that you can get on a small bet.
It's relatively quick and often you realize that the game has turned for the worse thus making your exit easier (most of the time)
With the negatives considered, it still stays one of the top games that can keep me busy for hours with little funds. ( if the game is on medium RTP )

The medium symbol payouts could have been higher. Win values on the snake and eagle don't justify when compared to the best value. Maybe it's supposed to be like that because of the fantastic pay ratio of the top symbol, the pharaohs, or the dude that thinks he's one.
The bonus of 5 symbol trigger to take you to the multiplier bonus is very difficult at times and when you do activate it, i4-5 times, it disappoints. It could be better. It's not DOA.
