These agents only work in the cold regions of the world, so they are appropriately called Arctic Agents, or AA for short. This penguin agent, for example, is probably named AA 001. Yep, our Penguin hero here is the Wild symbol, paying a low 66.6x the total bet for getting 5 of them. Penguins are cheap and replaceable I guess. It doubles all wins with it and substitutes for other symbols except for the Scatter symbol, as always. The Iceberg is the Scatter symbol, paying the usual 100x total bet for 5 of them. Getting 3 or more of these Icebergs trigger the Bonus game. Pick 1 of the 5 objects to win either 3 free spins with a 15x multiplier, 5 free spins with a 10x multiplier, 10 free spins with a 5x multiplier, 15 free spins with a 3x multiplier, or 20 free spins with a 2x multiplier. Okay, so, do I like playing this Arctic Agent game? If the penguin wasn't so stingy, I'd probably like the game better. No retriggering of the free spins game did matter. The payouts that I got could all be a lot fatter. Getting 2 Scatter symbols only get you a zero-payout matter. Too many things in this game could be made much better. Would I play this game again, I'm getting out of here!

The only thing that is really exciting at Arctic Agents is a bonus game called "Free Agents Bonus". An interesting name for a bonus but actually this is a free spins bonus. When you get to this bonus you need to click on one of the 5 offered agents. You can get 20 free spins with a 2x multiplier, 15 free spins with a 3x multiplier, 10 free spins with a 5x multiplier, 5 free spins with a 10x multiplier or 3 free spins with a 15 multiplier. Somehow I love when I get 10 free spins with a 5x multiplier.
The last time when I came to this bonus, I had 3 free spin where I have not won anything.

What bothers me the most of this game is that sometimes you can literally make hundreds and hundreds of spins but you do not get free spins. It is irritating indeed. Especially if, and it often happens, that on every 3rd or 4th spin you get 2 Scatter symbols. Even worse, 2 Scatter symbols do not pay anything. But sometimes it happens that the free spins comes almost in series, for an example, for a short time in let say 100 made spins you get free spins 3-4 times. The last time I played here, for about half an hour I came to the free spins 4-5 times. Twice I had a decent wins (greater than 50 x bet) in these free spins.

Some of the Microgaming slot games with 9 pay-lines such as for example Kathmandu are my favorites. I can’t say that for this game which I do not like too much. For Arctic Agents I give 6 stars out of a possible 10.

Arctic Agents is one of Microgamings nine line slots. I am actually a big fan of Microgamings nine slots and even though now and again I will play this slot it doesn't make it into my top 10 nine liners. The minimum bet per line for this slot is the usual 0.01p and me being me, just a little low roller, I often play it at this minimum bet. I think the most I have played this slot at is 0.05p per line so that's a 45p spin, I have never played it at more than that because I just don't think I would get me money back let alone a profit.

The wins on the lines on the base game are quite poor, well in fact they are really poor, I cant ever remember winning much from them and certainly I have never had a win worthy of a screenshot. However, the free spins are not that bad, and the good thing is they come in quite often. You have to select a character to reveal your free spins, the lowest amount of free spins you can win is 3 with a x 15 multiplier, I have never had this one. The highest you can win is 20 free spins with a x 2 multiplier, I have on the other hand had this one quite often. I have also had 15 free spins with a x 3 multiplier quite a lot. And to be hones this I am happy with generally, but as the wins are usually quite low it would be nice to get the higher multipliers because you really do need them to win big on this slot.

Maybe my mistake with Arctic Agents is not betting big enough, but for now I am not willing to increase it.
