I am not sure where to start. I am still trying to figure out if I hate this slot more than I hate Holy Diver MW, or if Holy Diver is the worst. As much as I continue to play even though I am losing. Yes, you win maybe once or twice out of 10 spins, that is how frustrating this slot can be. Took me well over 400 spins to get a 100x win, which is really unheard of for Quickspin slots.

Arcane gems, based on different Gems with Diamonds and all sorts of gems seem like a low variance but play like an extremely high variance. Win up to 5600x your total bet, well which does not sound convincing. I have a problem with Moon Princess telling me that lie and I have seen the potential, imagine the faith I have in this slot.

They might as well call this slot, Arcane Gems : 3 of Kind because that is all you get… Three of a kind wins or winning combinations, 90% of the time when you hit. Now imagine the frustration of a high-value symbol creating a win, for sticky re-spins, and 99% percent of the time you never get a 4th symbol to join the reels. You mostly win with clubs, spades, diamonds, or hearts and that pays peanuts, even with the multipliers.

Well, the game does not have free spins, only re-spins which means the base game wins only. I guess 5600x is possible with diamonds, but you will probably get a diamond connection every 500 spins or so, IMHO of course.

Disgusted and hate this slot, one of their worse to be honest. I would rather take my money for a spin and chase a wild line on Dead or Alive 2, as I personally feel the returns would be better and wild lines with multipliers will definitely make me reach! I would recommend you play another slot.

I don’t really know if this Arcane Gems game from Quickspin is a new game or not, because there isn’t any review done on this game so far, so I’ll be the first one to write on it. It is a very simple and basic game, playing with the standard 5 reels and 3 rows, having 9 paylines, but with a starting bet size of 10 cents per spin. There’s nothing fancy about the game, there are no Wild, Bonus or Scatter symbols, meaning there is no free spins feature game, but there is a row of spaces on top of the reels to indicate win multipliers, randomly chosen between 2x up to 5x.

For a 9 lines game, the paytable isn’t a good one, and the win values of all the symbols are rather very low too. They pay from a mere 25x the bet amount down to just 0.8x, but the indicated maximum possible win is a nice 5625x. So how can this maximum win ever be possible? Only one way to get it – get all 5x multipliers on the spaces above the reels, so they add up to a final 25x multiplier, then get one of the same top paying symbol on each respin, until all 15 are collected. Getting all 15 top symbols in one spin would only pay a 625x win, so accumulation of increasing wins is definitely the only way to get to the maximum win. Now that is almost a mission impossible, if you ask me, hahaha.

How to get those multipliers? Any 3 adjacent symbols on the reels would make a winning combination, but filling any column with the same symbols would activate the random multiplier, either 2x, 3x, or 5x. All columns (or reels) would have one random multiplier when all same 15 symbols have been collected, and this is the only way to get any good wins on this game. All other wins would only be small ones.

In this first ever play on the game, I couldn’t get any of all same symbols on the reels, but I did manage to get quite a number of same ones, for a decent win of 81x. That’s actually not even big enough to be satisfactory, but it is never easy to get any of those big wins, considering the very low win values of all the symbols. Getting all 15 of the lower symbols might not even pay a 100x, but depending entirely on the multipliers of course. If all multipliers are to be only 2x, then 15 of the lowest symbols would only pay a very low win of 8x! Ridiculous isn’t it?

Anyway, Arcane Gems is not a game to play for big wins, but you can get a good extended playtime from it, simply because the small wins do come frequently enough to keep you going on and on. If you want big wins, go for better games, period.
