3 Kingdoms – Battle of Red Cliffs Slot

A slot from Pragmatic Play, and it has a Chinese warrior this time and comes with 5 reels, 3 rows, and 25 pay-lines which in this case means 0.25 per spin. That is indeed a bit higher than I prefer since I would stick to those slots at 0.20 or under, but it is what it is.

The slot has a free spin bonus feature which you gotta trigger via 3 scatters that only appear on reels 1, 3, and 5. Then the Battle feature begins, but what is cool is that you get a choice of how you want the feature to be played, and that means one of 3 options thus, you get 5, 10, or 20 free spins. But the fewer spins mean higher volatility. That would be if you want to go big, but you gotta get lucky to hit something in those 5 spins. I was giving this slot a go in real mode, and the slot wasn’t triggering any features for me, but that is just how it goes sometimes. There is a progressive as well for the slot that you collect points towards that feature. That is good design to keep players playing a slot longer or return to it later because if you do get lucky with the envelope picking, it pays up to a 100x prize. By the way, it is one of those slots that allows you to re-trigger the free spins, and thus the feature can play for longer.

The graphics look good and colorful, mostly yellow, red, and orange themes. It puts the reels above an ocean, so there is that to think about.

The music you get is some Chinese-style music, and it has what I would say is highly suitable for this slot; various instruments are being used, including some kind of flute. Win sounds get played too, but even on wins that return less than your stake.

I played on the 94% range R.T.P. version, which is well under the 96.5% max R.T.P. version, but what can I do when the casinos are using the Pragmatic Play slots on the lower R.T.P.

Well, considering the min bet is 0.25, that is above my preferred sweet spot of 0.20 or 0.15, and then you have the fact that there are no bonus buys or ante bets, and when it comes to the envelope picking game, that is just an illusion of choice where it doesn’t really matter what you pick.
