1429 Uncharted Seas Slot is powered by Thunderkick. It comes with 5-reels, 25-paylines. Thunderkick make some different games and really original video slots that I pretty much like. They have been out on the market for 5 years and are true refreshment in the iGaming industry.

All Thuderckick slots looks unique with original features too. 1429 Uncharted Seas was released long time ago. They take us back trough history almost 70 years before Columbo discovered American continent. Design of this game is really beautiful. The whole game looks like those old maps that were used on ships in order to discover and find their destination’s.

When it comes to this video slot, I am not so happy with its features. There is a Wild symbol appearing on the reel 2,3, and 4 and covers entire reel when it occur on your screen or it comes stacked as we say using gambling vocabulary. 1429 Unscharted Seas features Free Spins which are triggered by collecting 3 or more Scatter symbols. For 3 Scatters you get 10 FS, for 4 Scatters you get 20 FS and finally if you manage to collect 5 Scatters you get amazing 50 FS. Unfortunately there is no Bonus feature and I am a bit disappointed.

The last time I played this video slot my stake was 0.50 euros and while playing for one hour I have made couple of hundred spins. Not decent wins though. I deposited 50 euros and used all of my balance in order to try to win the game and make some nice screenshots. After final disappointment I decided not to play this game anymore, not because I think its an awful game but because I have so many video slots that I want to play and need my pocket money to deposit and try them out

I'd just turned off two Thunderkick games in a row after finding they were nothing more than clones of NetEnt's Starburst, so if this game had turned out to be another I think I would have worried I had entered the Twilight Zone. Fortunately that isn't the case, and 1429 Uncharted Seas is a much more solid effort with a number of decent features that make it well worth a look.

First up, I'm pretty sure this is a game that will soon be getting banned for bonus play all over the web thanks to the incredible 98.6% RTP - that's a huge number for a slot game, significantly higher than even NetEnt's BloodSuckers and therefore surely more than enough to scare the majority of casino risk managers into adding this to the prohibited slots list!

Also there are expanding wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4 which make it possible to win on a very large number of the games 25 fixed paylines on a single spin. There's a free spins bonus round too - a thankful inclusion after I've just played two other Thunderkick games that had no features or bonus rounds whatsoever and it's nice to have something to look forward to whilst playing! Better yet if you hit four or five scatters you receive 20 or 50 spins accordingly rather than the standard 10 for just three scatters. I always appreciate little bonuses like that and the only downside to it is that the scatters themselves have no payout attached to them.

DISLIKED

I understand why the colour scheme was designed the way it is and the map effect is quite cool, but I think it really could have benefited from a little extra contrast. The whole screen looks a little flat and dull while this game is on display, a situation that definitely isn't helped by the outline drawing style of the lower paying symbols.

Also, a common complaint I have with Thunderkick slots is the generally heavy slant on the paytable - the top symbol here pays 50x your stake for a five of a kind yet the very next one down pays just 10x, meaning that all of the games most exciting wins rely on you hitting the wilds and that one particular symbol. It's not the end of the world, but I do definitely prefer a more gradual tapering of value especially at the top end!

1429 Uncharted Seas is a Thunderkick-powered slot. This slot has a seafaring type of theme set in the centre of a map. I guess this is the map where the ship sails looking for its treasures. This beautifully designed 5 reel, 25 payline title comes with expanding wilds and a free spins feature. What makes this game even more awesome that the 25 payline slot comes at a minimum bet of just $0.10 per spin.

This slot has a lot of symbols including mermaids, ships and assorted underwater creatures as well as the sun, moon and stars. The ship itself act as wild and expand to cover the entire reel when it appear in a winnings combination. Wild only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4.

This game has a free spins feature and is activated when 3 compass scattered symbols appear anywhere on the reels. You can win up to a maximum of 50 free spins for 5 compass scattered symbols and minimum of 10 free spins for 3 compass scattered symbols. During free spins wilds tend to appear often, at least 6 out of your 10 spins will have wilds from my experience. I don’t think you can retrigger the free spins feature, as I have never seen any scattered symbols during free spins. I guess it is because I am mainly looking for wilds and big wins, as you can easily get 2 or 3 wilds during free spins, and if mermaid is on reel 1, you in for a big win.

Do you like Bork the Berzerker? If you do, then this slot is for you and they are very similar to each other as well as the features. So if you know what Bork is cable of in terms of big wins, you will enjoy this slot more as the rtp on this slot is even higher than Bork.

I won more than x100 my total bet on this slot on a couple of occasions, but never big in terms of making a profit. This is my low budget slot and bank builder because a spin is just $0.10 and you can win a decent amount of money. This is a slot that you definitely need to try.

I really like Thunderkick slot games when it comes to design, but I can't seem to win anything with them. Some time ago I was playing in a casino that offer this software games and saw 1429 Uncharted seas slot. It really interested me because the name seemed unique and caught my attention, besides that, I love slots that are based on sea theme.

I was really happy to see that the game looked like a map that has been put on a table, the small intro video was nice too. There are water themed symbols like mermaid and octopus and also moon, star and sun. As usually, graphics were great. This game has one bonus feature and it is a free spins round. Bonus is triggered by 3 or more bonus symbols, you can get 10, 20 or 50 free spins, depending on the amount of bonus symbols.

I think that the only worthy feature in this game is wild symbol because it has been the most useful for me. It appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 and when there's a winning combination, it expands. Visually it looks really cool, because wild is a ship and when it expands, a sea monster picks it up on its tentactles.

It has 5 reel and 25 paylines, but what surprised me is that the bets are as low as 0.10€ per spin. I like that because then I can play them when I have really low balance. But that all being said, the payouts are really low. Free spins have no multiplier, so the possibility for a decent winning is small. Recently I even won 50 free spins so I was hoping for some huge win, but instead, I won 30 x bet winning.

Overall I think this game isn't good and I wouldn't recommend it. The looks are really nice and the expanding wild, although already seen feature before, but still interesting. But the low payout are the deal breaker, if I haven't won over 50 x bet on a game, I think it is not worthy my money.

It's summer time and I truly enjoy all the games with summer theme but 1429 Uncharted Seas by Thunderkick isn't one of them.

How does it sounds to you to go back hundreds years ago and to go in exploring adventure while discovering uncharted territories.

To be honest, this is one of my biggest fears ever to be on the boat in open ocean and those deep and dark waters with so many creatures in. It must looked scary back in time but it feels good to dive into this slot which will take you back in time and award prizes while playing .

This is 25 paylines slot with really. If you like Mermaids, you can chose to play Ariana by Microgaming which is totally different then this game or look for the Mermaid which is the most paying symbol in this game.

The fact that 5 mermaids paying only 50x your bet is pretty much disappointing to me.
Green sea creature is expanding wild which pays nothing and also disappointing fact is that scatter itself pays zero.I do like when game comes with expanding wild but in this game it really means nothing to me.

You can trigger free spins 10 up to 50 if you manage to collect 3,4 or 5 scatters and the whole game is super excited and to me it is a great feeling while waiting third scatter to appear because of the dark cloud from the left which covers the reels. It looks great and I could almost promise there is no way you will get bored while playing this slot.

And all this for the max.win of 50 coins, and this games pays crap in fact I think that creator of this game got drunk and they realized its paytable when was too late to fix it.

DISLIKED

Such a shame Thunderkick.

Great theme and game which isn't worth trying according to its paytable and you better stay away if you don't want to throw your money.

After playing the video slot 1429 Charted Seas I was pretty much left with mixed emotions. The game itself is clearing quite authentic when it comes to the chosen theme, layout and symbols. Not sure what the exact background story for this theme is, but I like how they depicted several sea creatures and moon, stars and sun symbols on the reels.

They almost look like ancient drawings while the reels are surrounded by land as it seems. So basically we’re spinning straight from the ocean. 1429 Charted Seas contains 5-reels, 3-rows and 25-paylines. The minimum bet is 10 cents and luckily that’s the bet size I used when I gave this game a try.

Although it looks great on the outside there are also some points of discussion which I would definitely want to raise. Just like many other slots the game has expanding wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4. Every time the boat symbol appears, then a creature comes storming out of it to turn the whole reel wild.

Unfortunately I only once had two appearing at the same time. The prizes in the base game are pretty terrible most of the time. I haven’t exceeded 10x bet in maybe an half hour of playing. Looking at the paytable, the max win is only 50x bet for a 5oak of the lady mermaid.

Basically you need them to line up perfectly on reels 1 and 5 in combinations with expanding wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4 to win anything near decent on this game. 1429 Charted Seas also offers up to 50 free spins. You need 3, 4 or 5 scatters (compasses) to receive 10, 20 or 50 free spins.

I received 10 free spins a couple of times and that alone of course doesn’t guarantee anything. I ended up winning 22x bet and 13x bet. Unfortunately there are no multipliers in place to help you ahead. I really feel that the paytable messes this game up terribly.

Thunderkick should have had designed a better paytable and it easily could have been a classic! I overall luckily only lost 5 euros on this game since I was low rolling. I don't think I will play it again.

Paytable sucks and no multipliers present to win big.

At the slot of 1429 Uncharted Seas not just the name is strange but the appearance is very unique and it’s the most unusual interface that I’ve played recently. There is no background image and the entire screen looks like if it was a page from a chronicle book or was a nautical map and the used symbols are all old scratches illustrating sea creatures and old fashioned drawings of sun, moon and stars which all have faces. It’s really a very interesting, unique and authentic interface and it creates the whole game a very specific atmosphere that we can see flickering candlelight in the corner and a moving shadow silhouette of a window. This whole image is so self-expressive and powerfully evocative that I can see as a captain after it’s getting dark holding a candle in his hand and examine his map while the ship is quietly bobbing. I’m not sure this illustration fits to a slot game but it’s very nice and classy and I definitely appreciate it.

We can’t see such unusual solutions at game segment and it wouldn’t need it if it would work greatly but telling the truth it doesn’t do that. It has just average quality at best and features, extras are also not that ones that the players would wait for breathless. 1250 times of line bet is the most we can win by the best line win and even though the Wild may appear on the reels in expanded format but it does that only on the 3 inner reels without the ability to multiply wins or pay any in itself.

Collecting 3 or more Scatters in base game means we get an entry to the Free Spin feature and the number of spins are depends how many triggering symbol popped up during the triggering spin. 3 such icons reward us 10 spins, 4 of them give 20 extra games while 5 identical symbols award 50 free spins. Unfortunately, this side game doesn’t bring any plus quality to the spins and basically the spins here are no different than the normal spins except we don’t have to place bets for them.

As you can see the game works by very minimal qualities and rules and that really influences in bad way the overall gaming experience. I always feel sorry about the slots that have very beautiful or unique interfaces but they got a poor working scheme or a bad rewarding paying system. Sometimes the ‘ What a shame, what a waste’ sentence just comes across my mind and with heavy heart I just look further and eventually end up playing with another slot. That’s the situation with this slot too where it doesn’t matter how much I appreciate its interface it still isn’t enough for me to play here frequently because of the hiatus of the real entertainment and the obvious lack of ability to be rewarding.

Back in the year 1429, a lonely ship sailed the high seas, the uncharted seas. Who the sailor was nobody knew, but I have an inkling of whom it was, but we’ll come back to that later on. As expected, or maybe not, the game is presented in minimal colour, almost like in black and white. Yeah, video in colour definitely isn’t invented yet in 1429, but somehow Gonzo got it. Ah well, that’s a totally different story. So like it or not, Uncharted Seas game plays in almost black and white, with only the introduction video coming on in full colour. Nothing much to get excited about, so 1 star down.

Chart wise, its paytable that is, the game has 25 paylines, the highest paying symbol, the Mermaid, pays 50 x bet for 5 of her, there are expanded wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4 that doesn’t double or triple any wins with them, nor pay anything for themselves either, and there are also non-paying scatter symbols that trigger 10, 20 or 50 free spins for 3, 4 or 5 of them. Very low win values overall. 2 stars down.

Any free spins game? Yes, of course. 10, 20 or 50 free spins are up for grabs, if you can catch them. Just free spins though, no payouts to be won. Those compasses have no value…no wonder that ship is forever lost at sea! Notice anything similar about this game with another game? Smart boy! Smart gal! Yes, this game is identical to Bork the Berzerker. And who else must have been on that ship if not Bork himself! I told you I knew who was on that ship! Haha. Other than the 50 maximum number of free spins up for grabs, there isn’t anything else much going for 1429 Uncharted Seas, so 2 stars down.

The only thing I like about this game are the free spins that come quite often, in fact, just marginally better off than Bork’s game. Payouts remain average to low most of the time, despite getting 2 or 3 expanded wilds on the reels, both in the main game as well as in the free spins game. What a big difference it would have made if those expanded wilds could pay double or even triple for wins, creating bigger payouts and much more interest in the game. Sadly enough, I tend to get bored quite easily playing 1429 Uncharted Seas, just as I would when playing Bork the Berzerker, for which I think Thunderkick game designers should seriously look into to avoid putting out more of such dull games in the future. 1 star down.

“1429 Uncharted Seas” is the third consecutive slot from Thunderkick casinos that I play here. The first slot was very weak (“Birds on a Wire”), the second slot was more than excellent (“Fruit Warps”), and now this third slot (“1429 Uncharted Seas”) is average. I am not sorry that I lost some time playing here because each slot in these casinos is unique in its own way and, like the two other slots played before this one, this game has a certain different peculiar characteristic. The story of slot is that of the ancient marine navigation on yet uncharted seas, from a time when the charts had figured on them various monsters and other possible hazards. Having in the background an ancient navigation map, the symbols of the slot represent different monster creatures from the sailor stories and legends (the sea serpent, the siren, the giant octopus etc.). In those days people still believed that the earth is flat and is standing on the shell of giant tortoises. Apart from this presentation idea, however this is almost a standard slot with 5 reels.

Speaking of statistics, in my game for every 10 Euro I played I lost about 3 Euro, for a bet of 10 cents/25 paylines. I will stop a bit here to say that I love this minimum bet of just 10 cents regardless of the number of paylines, that I met at all slots I played here in Thunderkick. Various symbols pay between 5-40 cents for “3 of a kind” and I will say this is a handsome payout. Probably I just had bad luck with a return of only 70-80%, even though I played about 300 spins.

The only thing which I did not liked was that the 10 Free Spins (awarded by 3 “cardinals”-“wind rose” do not bring anything spectacular (except the fact that the background of the slot turns into a sea storm). This round is given quite frequently but the total win is less than 1 Euro. (I won once only 12 cents!)

Like I said, the slot is average, and only the presentation, the graphics and the background sounds are something special.
