Withdrawal issues and excessive KYC requests at BetsAmigo

I am writing to express my frustration with the withdrawal process on my account. On March 18, 2023, I deposited €100 and received a 100% sports bonus. I then wagered this amount and was able to achieve good results, leaving me with a balance of €700-€800 in my game account.

On March 28, 2023, I submitted KYC verification documents for the first time. While everything was accepted except for proof of address, I encountered some difficulties in proving my address. I tried using official certificates from the bank and official letters, but they were not deemed valid. As a result, I had to order a paid address certificate from the population data register. I was hoping to receive my winnings from BetsAmigo soon, but unfortunately, the process took longer than expected.

Finally, on April 13, 2023, I received an email confirming that my KYC documents had been checked and approved. I then attempted to withdraw my winnings but was informed that the withdrawal failed and that the money had been returned to my game account. I was also asked to provide further certificates, but the email stated that no additional certificates would be requested after these.

I promptly provided the requested documents, including a photograph of myself holding the proof of ID document I had used for verification. I received an email confirming that the documents had been approved, which led me to believe that the withdrawal process was finally complete.

However, when I attempted to withdraw my winnings again, I received another email stating that the withdrawal had been cancelled and that I needed to send my ID document again. At this point, I began to doubt whether I would ever receive my money. I have submitted numerous documents for KYC verification that have been accepted, yet I am still unable to withdraw my winnings.

Upon researching online, I discovered that other customers have experienced similar problems with BetsAmigo's withdrawal process. I hope that by filing this complaint, I will finally receive my winnings. I have all the emails and certificates of the documents I submitted, which I am happy to provide if necessary.


I submit this complaint to AskGamblers for assistance. I hope that with their help, we can resolve this issue and I can receive my winnings in a timely manner.

I am writing to inform you that I have finally received the refund of my funds from BetsAmigo casino. I must admit that this outcome came as a pleasant surprise, as I had begun to believe that my money had been unjustly withheld by the casino. It appears that they were merely holding my funds temporarily, although, based on the numerous complaints I have come across, it seems that other individuals have faced similar issues.

The casino's tactics of continuously requesting various documents and repeatedly closing the live chat without providing assistance appeared to be a deliberate strategy to delay payment. Despite my repeated attempts to engage via the live chat feature at different times, it seemed inaccessible to me. Interestingly, when I asked a friend to visit the site and access the live chat from their own computer, He had no trouble accessing it.

I sincerely hope that BetsAmigo is currently facing financial difficulties, which could explain the delay in returning customers' funds, rather than engaging in unprofessional conduct as part of their business plan. I fervently wish that this is not a recurring theme, as it is disheartening to learn that many individuals have resorted to reaching out to the betting company through emails, only to receive no response or resolution. Unfortunately, I have had similar experiences in the past, leading me to exercise caution when engaging with websites operating under a Curacao license. On a previous occasion, I lost 1500 euros, and I am aware of many others who have suffered even greater losses, which is truly regrettable.

Having read numerous accounts of similar problems faced by others at your casino, it is unlikely that the delay is solely due to the significance of the Know Your Customer (KYC) process. For instance, the last document I submitted was never even acknowledged. Consequently, I decided not to provide any further documents as the situation had become ludicrous. I refrained from visiting the site or contacting them for a period of 3-4 weeks. Afterward, I initiated a withdrawal request through the platform, as my user account had already been successfully verified multiple times. Rather than withdrawing the entire amount at once, I opted to withdraw a few hundred euros at a time. I would advise others in similar circumstances to pursue a similar approach.

Lastly, I would like to emphasize that it is not sufficient for your representatives to inform the AskGamblers team that the customer's withdrawal has "already" been processed, without addressing the entire incident and the delays directly with the customer. In light of the ordeal I endured for 3-4 months due to your organization's errors, it would be appropriate to issue a sincere apology to the affected customer, along with a small compensation or, at the very least, extend well wishes for the summer season.

I trust that you will take these concerns seriously and take appropriate measures to rectify the situation. It is crucial for your company to prioritize prompt and fair customer service to maintain trust and reputation within the gambling community.

Delaying Withdrawal Process - 500 EUR
I created a Betsamigo account a few weeks ago using their welcome sports bonus (Deposit €10 or more and become the ultimate bettor with a 100% Welcome Sports Reload up to the value of €100). Over the following days i bet a fair bet, fulfilling the bonuses wagering requirements. I had read good reviews about Betsamigo so i felt quite safe, however to ensure it operates ethically i wanted to test their withdrawal system, as I have read reviews for other casinos and saw this is often where online casinos become problematic.

Before attempting to withdraw I saw I have to verify the account, as such i submitted a proof of address using the national address registry, bank account statement and an image of my card used to deposit. After accepting my proof of address and denying my bank statement and image of debit card they requested a copy of my passport, which i quickly sent in. One day later i was told my accounts KYC was complete and that my account was verified. At this point i assumed the withdrawal process should be quick, this was on the 19th of February. As such i attempted a 500 euro withdrawal (just under half my account balance), they however quicly cancelled this pending withdrawal and requested more documents, they asked for an official bank statement, so i once again quickly submitted one but they declined it as my bank statement doesn't show my IBAN on it. So i contacted my bank to find a proof of account document which shows the requested details, submitted it, and it was accepted. At this point I assumed since thats all they asked for that I could now withdraw, however it was once again not the case. Since then in all seperate emails one by one after i submit each they have requested a photo of me with my passport, and a proof of me owning my phone number in the form of a mobile provider statement. Once i submitted all this i was told it was all complete.

Finally i once again attempted to withdraw on the 24th of February, yet have received no updates on it. According to the Betsamigo chat bot it says withdrawals are to be processed within 48 hours, however this clearly is not the case. I decided to contact a live support agent today and was informed that my withdrawal was having to undergo further verification.

I for one have found this proccess to be unnaceptable as it has been made abundantly clear that the Betsamigo team will do anything possible to delay the withdrawal process in hopes of you gambling away all the money rather than withdrawing it.
