Tiger’s Claw has eight pay symbols, the lower value ones can appear in stacks of one to three symbols high. In ascending order of value, these are a red diamond, a blue star, an engraved stone, a set of shaman drums and three golden statues(that brought me an amazing 70x win in base game with wild symbol being involved) A ritual mask and an eagle are the medium-paying symbols, while the top paying symbol is the Siberian White tiger, mountaintop is a wild symbol that only appears on reels two, three and four and it substitutes for all symbols except the scatter and bonus symbols.

As soon you open the game you will be seeing that you can earn up 96 free spins in a single win which is a little bit confusing but as soon you started playing it you will realize what's going on. To get free spins you will need to get scatter symbol on every reel (Tiger Claw) 5 scatters will be granting you 8 free spins and it can result in you getting 96 free spins by getting 9 scatter symbols which is really hard to be done and I couldn't even think of getting it. Shaman being scatter symbols makes you think it can pay nicely which isn't the case at all, getting 5 of them will get you only 50x which is too low and it should be more rewarding for sure, keep in mind that wild symbol doesn't pay anything or multiply the winnings so I don't know where that 95.14% RTP went.

Not all casinos give me loyalty free spins on this gorgeous game. There is no multipliers here but that's not a big grief for me. Sometimes it takes some time to trigger freebies but in general - all is okay.

Tiger's Claw is the latest offering from BetSoft, playing with 720 ways to win, and using a 3-4-5-4-3 format, a form that I call the 'bulging format', just waiting to burst at the center. Whilst I particularly don't like any 6-reels and so-many-rows format, this bulging format is not to my liking either, probably because I'm an 'old school' player who still prefers the traditional 5-reels and 3-rows, but have now come to accept 5-reels and 4-rows too. But anything that's bulging, or looking like it is being squeezed, are still not to my taste, but that's just me of course.

One thing about BetSoft games though, is that their games always look great! This Tiger's Claw game follows in the same footsteps, although it isn't amongst the best that I have seen from BetSoft. But looking great is not what a slot game is all about - it concerns more on how it would play and pay, and everything depends heavily on how the paytable has been designed and laid out. In this game, the Wild symbols don't pay anything, and I simply don't like that! They appear only on reels 2, 3 and 4, doesn't expand with any wins, making for yet one more thing that I don't like. The Shaman is the regular Scatter symbol, paying a low 50x total bet for getting 5 of them, but doesn't trigger the Free Spins game. That is being done by another Scatter symbol, the Tiger's Claw, but paying a miserably low 1x total bet for getting all 5 of them! Why so low? I simply cannot figure out!

The Tiger's Claw symbol is stacked 2 high on reels 2 and 4, and stacked 3 high on reel 3, making a possible 9 Scatter symbols to appear at any one time. 5 Scatters would award only 8 free spins, but getting 9 Scatters would award 96 free spins, and can be retriggered up to a maximum of 240 free spins in any single game. But of course, that is easier said than done, because I couldn't even get one retrigger during my sessions on this game!

The regular symbols have slightly low values, paying from 2000x the line bet for 5 of the Siberian Tigers, down to 100x the line bet for the lowest symbol. However, the 720 ways to win can certainly make better wins out of those low values, and the wins are paid both ways too, from left-to-right and right-to-left. Nonetheless, the overall payouts from this game cannot be that big, because the Wilds don't pay and don't multiply wins, the Tiger's Claw Scatters pay only 1x total bet, and the free spins are without any multipliers too. You really need to get as many retriggers as possible to get the bigger wins.

I was very disappointed with my 2 separate sessions on this game. The Free Spins game was very hard to get, even though 3 and 4 Scatters would come frequently enough, but the required 5th Scatter always eluded me, so that really sucked. Whatever wins that I got in the base game were small, but luckily enough, one Free Spins game paid me a win of 64x my bet amount, and with that, I quickly made my exit! Did I win? No way! I quit playing the game before I lose more!
