Before you start chasing this throne, you should set your betting range. When you click on "Bet Level +/-" you will set the number of coins per line you wish to bet. By clicking on "Coin +/-" you can adjust coins size which ranges from 0.01 to 10. "Autoplay" is used to set how many times you wish for reels to turn without interruption on an already chosen bet range. There are many slots based on these same stories and all of them are visually very similar, so I think if a company wants players to remember its video slot, they will have to make it stand out from the others in some way, maybe by creating truly unique special features, or perhaps setting a strong paytable that encourages players to play.
I really think Habanero has failed to design the general concept of this slot; its paytable is pretty tight and its main feature, a bonus round where your dragon faces rival dragons, it is, first of all, not so novel, and on the other hand, also not so generous from my point of view.
So, today in my debut with this slot, I rarely accessed the duel of dragons and my profits there never exceeded 9x my total bet.
I think that Habanero has complicated enough access to this feature since to trigger it, it is necessary to appear the symbol of the dragon throne in any position on reel 3, but this can only happen if some dragon’s symbol appears previously exactly in the center of reel 1, and to finally achieve to trigger the round, the same dragon of reel 1 must appear on reel 5; I am not really surprised that this round seldom happens.
Maybe the only nice aspect of this slot is that the wild symbol can double your winnings and sometimes it also appears massively on the reels; in fact, my best payouts, which were between 8x and 18x my total bet, were given precisely in these conditions during the base game; in any case, these medium-sized wins didn’t avoid my session to end in a loss either.
I think “Dragon's Throne” is the first slot created by Habanero I consider really disappointing; some of its other slots have seemed nice and even great to me; but what I now believe, is that these dragons have been brought to life not only to fight each other but also against the players.
