Shark Bite is a nice underwater themed video slot game from Amaya Gaming. I play this slot from time to time and the outcome is always different, but in general I find this game to be nicely balanced and for that reason it is always on my list. The theme and the symbols used are very interesting and serene and also are the sound effects.

Shark Bite is a 5 reels and 25 pay lines video slot game. The highest amount that I have won while I was playing this game was 750 coins for 5 orange fish. I managed to land 5 of these symbols on an active pay line at the very beginning of my game session. At that point I did not care whether I will activate a feature or land another win. I continued playing for a while and made a withdrawal. At that point I got so happy because of the win and I did not want to risk my money.

There are 2 special features in the Shark Bite video slot game. I was activating the free spins feature most of the times. The box with gold is the key that triggers the free games. There are 10 free spins and this bonus round is very rewarding because the combinations are made not only from left to right, but also from right to left. The highest amount that I have won during the free spins was 90 x bet. Most of the times the wins are around 20 x bet. In theory this feature can be very rewarding but you need to be lucky and land some good symbols.

There is another bonus feature, and I found this one to be more difficult to activate, and not that rewarding. I was always getting around 5 x bet from this bonus round.

This is a really nice game and I highly recommend it to anyone to try it, but do not expect any colossal wins though.

Shark Bite is another slot that has an ‘Under the sea’ theme but somehow I don’t find it as nice products as other games in this subject category. The symbols are sharks, fishes, treasure chest, sea stars and other little animals but the graphics quality of them is not so good. They seem to be blurred and not detailed and the used colour scheme is also not the best so they absolute don’t impress me. The same goes to the background image where we can see a big sunken ship and I think it would have been better to not making the reel area transparent because the dark tone of the ship doesn’t do good for the visualization. I would have made this background image with less contrast but it even would have been better to choose a homogenous backdrop to the reel area.

I can’t say Shark Bite can catch me with exceptional game features because unfortunately the game doesn’t stand out in that area either. The best paying Shark Bite symbols can reward up to just 1000 times of line bet while the Wild has an interesting quality that can be very great but we can’t see much benefit of it because this is one of the most rarely appearing substitute symbols that I’ve ever played. So that attribute is if it still appears on the reels it becomes and expending Wild but this time it doesn’t transforms other symbols to Wilds on the reel but much more it works horizontally and every icons on the row on the right side of the Wild became such kind of symbol. Naturally, it really could result some nice wins but it just doesn’t happen often. Anyway, the Wild doesn’t bring any multiplier value or pays by own.

Free Spins can be won getting special icons on the 3 middle reels and though this side game doesn’t work with any multiplier numbers but at least the winning combinations are counted from right to left directions too. The Feedy Frenzy bonus game can be awarded by 2 Bonus symbols on one of the 3 inner reels but it just can be activated from free games and if we’re lucky enough to get an entry the cumulative wins by free spins and bonus can be quite nice.

After getting the bonus we must choose one of the 3 shoals of fish and the shark comes along to eat from them as many as it can and after it ate them just spit out the fish bones and we can collect as many bonus points as the number of fish bones were. We’ve got 3 attempts to feed the Shark and at the end of the feature the sum of the bonus points is multiplied by total bet. Once I got 10 free spins and the bonus side game was triggered not once but twice occasions during that session but at the end I just won €40 by bonuses and free spins and maybe I was a little disappointed because I expected more.

This can be said about generally the game, as I really expected much more from it. The interface of the slot is not impressive or captivating and it also has poor paying qualities and I don’t even mentioned yet that the longer losing streaks are very often occurred so finally there’s really nothing here at this slot that would be worth to play here frequently and in my opinion it is just another bad video slot game.
