SkillOnNet product, Magic and Wonders is a 30-payline game with Alice in Wonderland like theme and displays surrounding with a lovely, magical forest. I find this whole illustration very captivating with its colours, shapes, characters like hat, cat, queen, soldiers etc. Unfortunately, my problem with this slot starts right here. I like very much the little animations during the playtime because I think they made the games more interesting and more likeable, but here, there are so many of them that I feel they really ruin the game and interrupt the plays. Some characters are very similar to each other so it’s hard suddenly to recognize what symbols could form a winning line and if it weren’t enough difficult to distinguish them the animated clips are shown in a magnified square covering a bigger space on the screen.
When I played with this game I always turned off the background music because I felt it started annoying me.
It’s a feature rich slot and I’m not sure I can recall all of them but I don’t find them too munificent and they’re not like I would breathlessly wait for. Three scattered Hats trigger Magic Hat bonus where a little ‘now you see it now you don’t’ type side game with hats and gems are played. The Rabbit activates the free spins (2-20 spins) with no additional multiplier but all other game extras are available to be triggered under this phase. There are the so-called Special Wonders mini bonuses when 2 specified symbols are connected each other to get the players more chance to win. I a Girl and Potion appear on the table all symbols turn magic doors and 1 choice can be made from them to win up to 1000 coins. Soldier and Chest combo on a winning line can multiple that win up to 6 times. If 2 Queens land on a winning line all other symbols participation in re-spins while queens stay on their spots.
I usually played with €1.50 but I can count on my fingers how many occasions I got more then €5 with this mini bonuses (not that the other part of the game would have been more generous).
Overall, besides the pictorial world that Magic and Wonders represents I don’t like what I got here. I just think this whole game is just not well-put together. Maybe a reconsideration of the game structure wouldn’t be a bad thing.
