This Demolition Squad game by NetEnt was launched back in 2012. It's an interesting and fun game to play, with 5-reels, 40-paylines, and playable from 0.40 cents bet per spin. It seems like NetEnt used the Japanese Manga style once again for inspiration. The Demolition Squad gang looks like they had jumped into this slot game from some cartoon spot somewhere, but I like cartoonish theme, so this game do me just fine, my eyes loving looking at those cartoon symbols.
When I played this game, two Wilds appeared on reels 2 and 4, and then some same symbols appeared between those two Wilds on reel 3, and boom, I had won a 'BIG WIN' right away, a 6.80 Euros win. My next spins were mostly dead spins, with some occasional minor wins, but then the Wilds appeared again on the same positions and gave me a 2.00 Euros win.
When two Demolition Wilds appear on any payline, they would transform the symbol in between them into a Demolition Wild, making 3 Wilds in succession on that payline, thereby creating some nice decent wins with them. These Demolition Wilds do create more additional wins to the usual Wilds, so you can expect more frequent wins. But considering the fact that it's a 40-paylines video slot, it could also be a money-eater, just like those 243-ways slots are.
The Scatter symbols look terrific whenever they go shaking on the reels. You can trigger between 10 and 50 free spins, but trying to get 5 Scatters to get that 50 free spins is something really hard to get. The nice thing is that during the free spins game, you can retrigger more free spins by getting 3 or more Scatters again. There is also a 3x win multiplier attached to the Free Spins game.
You can win a maximum of 4000 coins by getting 5 Robot symbols, and also 2000 coins and 1000 coins for the next two most valuable symbols in this game. The sound effects are pretty good to me too. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any Free Spins game and that made me a bit upset. Playing my sessions just in the base game alone isn't much fun, because I wanted to trigger those Free Spins games to boost up my balance.
